Dino Kid drops four personal belongings across the forest after you rescue him, and returning each one gives a large chunk of the experience you need to level him up. The four trinkets are the Lunchbox, Yo-Yo, Crayon, and Plush. Handing over all four sets off the toughest fight in the event.
Quick answer: Use the clue tracker on the bench near your campfire to reveal each trinket’s map location, collect the Lunchbox, Yo-Yo, Crayon, and Plush, then bring each one back to Dino Kid and press E to hand it over. The Plush sits in a caged map area and needs Cultist Gems to unlock.

How the Dino Kid clue tracker points to each trinket
At the start of a run, look at the bench next to the campfire. It runs a clue system that marks Dino Kid’s location and the belongings he has lost around the forest. Once he is rescued and befriended, the tracker begins surfacing map clues for the missing trinkets.
The clues do not hand you exact pins right away. The search radius on the map tightens as you upgrade your campfire, so a higher campfire level narrows the area you have to sweep for each item. Upgrading the campfire is the single most reliable way to make the harder trinkets findable.
Note: Rescuing Dino Kid comes first. His dungeon is guarded by Alpha Wolves, so clear them, use the red key on the dungeon lock, carry him back to camp, place him in a tent by the campfire, and select Befriend to open the event.

Each trinket returns a fixed amount of experience, and the rarer the item, the harder it is to reach. The Plush is worth the most by a wide margin, but it is also locked behind a gated area.
| Trinket | Where it turns up | EXP |
|---|---|---|
| Lunchbox | Revealed by an early clue marker on the map | 100 XP |
| Yo-Yo | Revealed by a map clue as you expand your search | 150 XP |
| Crayon | Hard-to-reach spots such as the military base | 350 XP |
| Plush | Locked in a cage in a new map area; needs Cultist Gems | 750 XP |
The Crayon is the trickiest of the first three to track down because it tends to land in dangerous, out-of-the-way places like the military base. Push your campfire level up before hunting it so the clue radius is as small as possible.

Getting the Plush from its locked cage
The Plush is not a normal pickup. It sits in a cage inside a new map area, and the cage only opens with Cultist Gems. Collect the gems first, then unlock the cage to take the Plush.
Picking up the Plush is the trigger for the event’s finale. The night after you grab it, a mega Cultist attack begins. It comes in three waves under a time limit and is the hardest combat encounter tied to Dino Kid.

What finding all four trinkets rewards
Collecting every trinket is what unlocks the Warding badge, which is earned by defending Dino Kid through the hardest Cultist attack that starts after the fourth item is returned. Survive that final assault on the hardest difficulty and you receive a Gem of the Forest and three Cultist Gems.
The trinket experience also pushes Dino Kid toward Level 5, which grants the Babysitting badge. At that point he starts cutting down nearby trees and stockpiling logs for your base on his own, which helps most in the later nights when resources run thin.
| Milestone | Reward |
|---|---|
| Reach Level 5 | Babysitting badge; Dino Kid auto-collects logs |
| Survive the final Cultist attack | Warding badge, Gem of the Forest, 3 Cultist Gems |
Keep Dino Kid in a good mood while you hunt, since his needs still tick down between trips. Feed him before his hunger bar empties, make his bed when he wants sleep, expand the campfire so he is not cold, and heal him with a Bandage if he is hurt. A happy Dino Kid keeps your badge progress on track while you close out the trinket hunt.
