Big Walk: How to Solve the Red Coordinates Puzzle (3259, 1883 and 3231, 1976)

Split your group, track the coordinates with the green box, and hit both buttons at the same moment.

The Red Coordinates puzzle in Big Walk looks like a dead end when you first reach it. There is a wooden sign printed with two sets of numbers and a green box that shows red digital figures, and nothing that clearly tells you what to do. Those numbers are map coordinates, and the puzzle only opens up once two players split apart and reach both spots together.

Quick answer: Send one player to coordinate 3259, 1883 and another to 3231, 1976, then press the button hidden at each location at the exact same time. The puzzle completes only when both buttons are held simultaneously.

What the sign and the green box mean

The wooden sign lists two target coordinates, 3259, 1883 and 3231, 1976. The green box beside it is your reading tool. When you pick it up and move around, the red numbers on its face change in real time to match your current position on the island. That is how you confirm you are standing on one of the target spots.

This is a cooperative puzzle built for at least two players. One person alone cannot press both buttons at the same time, so you need a partner and a way to talk to each other while you are far apart.

How to solve the Red Coordinates puzzle

Note both coordinates from the sign, 3259, 1883 and 3231, 1976. Decide which player takes which location so nobody doubles up on the same spot.
Have one player carry the green coordinate box. Watch the red digits as you walk. When they match one of the target pairs, you are standing in the right place.

Split up and travel to both coordinates. Use the chairlift to cover ground faster, or walk if the spot is close. Each player should head toward a different target.
At each coordinate, find the button. It sits near the marked spot, so look around the immediate area once your position lines up with the sign.
Stay in contact through megaphones or voice chat and count down together. Both players press their button at the same moment to trigger the puzzle.

How to know it worked

When both buttons register at the same time, the puzzle resolves and releases its reward. If nothing happens, the two presses were not lined up closely enough. Reset, count down out loud, and press on the same beat.

The most common reason this puzzle fails is timing. One player reaching their coordinate while the other is still traveling, or pressing a second too early, will not count. Keep talking, confirm you are both on the correct spots, and commit to the same moment.
