The Diving Helmet in Enshrouded 1.0 is on the skeleton of a lost diver inside a flooded Drak’Dal Temple in the Veilwater Basin. Reaching it is the goal of Diving Gear, a main quest you get from the Huntress. Once you loot it, you have an epic head piece that gives you a full extra minute of air underwater.

Quick answer: Go to the Drak’Dal Temple about 180 m north of a Return Beacon in the Veilwater Basin, swim through the flooded section, and loot the lost diver’s skeleton.

Where to find the Diving Helmet

Veilwater Basin contains multiple Drak’Dal Temples, so use the landmarks to pinpoint the correct one: the temple is about 180 m north of a Return Beacon, and a Fish Farm is roughly 290 m west of it. The area’s level is around 43. On the interactive map, look for Diving Helmet in the unique-loot display. A diver’s log lore note is only a few metres from the skeleton; finding it confirms you’re in the right room.

The Huntress’s Diving Gear quest has two journal steps, Reach The Drak Temple and Enter The Temple And Loot The Lost Diver. Here’s the route in order.

Travel to the Veilwater Basin. Use the Return Beacon about 180 m south of the temple as your starting point.
Head about 180 m north of the Return Beacon to find the Drak’Dal Temple. If you see the Fish Farm roughly 290 m to your west, you’re at the right temple. The quest moves to its second step once you reach it.
Get inside the temple and swim through the flooded section. The quest journal recommends raising your maximum oxygen before you enter, so bring whatever extra oxygen you have.
Find the lost diver’s skeleton and loot it to take the Diving Helmet. The diver’s log near the body confirms the spot.

What the Diving Helmet does

The Diving Helmet is epic head armor at item level 40. Its item text reads:

“A silver helmet that increases your maximum oxygen while diving. Its delicate engraved lines imitate the flow of water, and the viewport is segmented like a clam’s shell.”

Maximum Oxygen+60 seconds
Wet Duration Reduction120 seconds

The +60 seconds of maximum oxygen applies to every dive after you put it on, which is why it helps to have other oxygen boosts for the first trip through the flooded temple.
