And Your Enemies Closer is one of two objectives that open on the Tacmap after you finish Deadly Obsession in Ghost Recon Wildlands: Last Rites. Both need to be cleared to keep the story moving, and this one sends Nomad into a Cultist outpost to learn how La Llorona operates in Villa Verde. The catch is that a drone jammer sits at the heart of the base, and the whole task must be done without being seen.

Quick answer: Sneak into the outpost, disable the drone jammer at the foot of the antenna (or cut its generator on the southeast corner), then hide behind the machine, launch your drone, and hover it near the marked Cultist praying on the second-floor balcony until his monologue ends.

Objective and fail conditions

Your goal is to eavesdrop on a Cultist Lieutenant with your drone to find out more about La Llorona and how she runs Villa Verde. This is a stealth-only objective. If you are spotted or open fire and alert the lieutenant, the mission fails immediately.

A failure is costly here. You restart from Villa Verde Bravo and have to drive all the way back to the Cultist outpost, so it pays to clear the base carefully the first time rather than rush in.

How to complete And Your Enemies Closer

Drive to the outpost and stop before you round the final bend. Pull out your drone at range and you will notice it is being jammed, which means you cannot recon the interior yet.
Scout from just outside the jammer’s range to pin down its position. The jammer sits at the back of the base, right at the foot of the large antenna, so use that landmark to plan your approach.

Thin out the guards on the edge of the base with Sync Shot so grouped enemies drop at once without alerting the rest. Then order your allies to Hold Position somewhere they cannot be seen, and move in solo. Teammates left inside the base can sprint across an enemy’s line of sight and blow your cover, which is why going in alone is safer.
Work your way to the back of the outpost and switch off the jammer. Watch for bear traps scattered around the base, since stepping into one drains your health while you are stuck in it. If you prefer, you can cut the jammer’s power instead by turning off the generator on the southeast corner of the compound. Climbing over the wall lets you reach it quietly, and it usually alerts at most the single guard posted beside it.
With the jammer down, hide behind the machine and launch your drone. Fly it toward the marked Cultist praying on the second-floor balcony of the large building and hold it there. You must stay in place and record the rooftop prayer for the full monologue.

How to know it worked

The prayer reveals that La Llorona keeps a shrine in the region, and once the monologue finishes the objective clears on its own. And Your Enemies Closer is then marked complete on the Tacmap. Pair it with Vow of Silence, the other objective in this pair, to continue toward With Extreme Prejudice.

If the mission keeps failing, the cause is almost always the same. Either a guard spotted you, the lieutenant was alerted before the recording finished, or the drone was still jammed because the machine or generator had not been disabled. Clear those foes quietly and confirm the jammer is off before you send the drone up, and the eavesdrop will complete cleanly.
