Printers are sold by a hidden NPC inside a tunnel behind a small grey house. Getting into that tunnel costs $500. From there, you choose the printer tier and a place to run it. The higher-value printer earns faster but carries a slightly lower detection rate, which matters if police are active on your server.

Note: printers only produce cash while you are actually in the server with them. Leaving the game stops the income and leaves your apartment sitting open for a police raid, so this is an “in-server AFK” method rather than a true offline earner.
