Reveal the hidden room in the House of Hesperides and light the Cryo monuments in the exact order to claim the chest.

Reveal the hidden room in the House of Hesperides and light the Cryo monuments in the exact order to claim the chest.

The House of Hesperides on Fellfrost Peak hides a room above one of its rooms. The Suspicious Ceiling world quest asks you to pull that ceiling down and expose the space behind it, then solve a short puzzle to open the door inside. The whole thing comes down to one build action and one correct firing order.

Quick answer: On the second floor, place a Grappling Gun next to the Cryoculus by the railing to drop the ceiling, then light the four Cryo monuments with a ranged Cryo attack in this order: northwest, southeast, north, south.

Where the Suspicious Ceiling is in the House of Hesperides

The suspicious ceiling sits on the second floor of the House of Hesperides on Fellfrost Peak. The quest marker points you upward toward a section of ceiling that looks out of place, and a Cryoculus floats near the railing beside it. That railing is your working spot for the entire reveal.

Reveal the secret room with a Grappling Gun

Head to the second floor and follow the quest marker to the Cryoculus floating near the railings. This is where the hidden path is triggered.
Open the construction menu and place a Grappling Gun next to the Cryoculus. Firing it pulls the ceiling down and lowers a platform, forming a walkway straight into the hidden chamber.

Cross the new path into the room. Inside you will find a group of Ikor dolls and four deactivated Cryo monuments, which set up the next part of the puzzle.

Cryo monuments correct order for the Secret Chamber in the Ceiling

The four monuments must be lit in a set sequence, and the number of Ikor dolls placed in front of each one tells you the order. One doll means it goes first, two dolls means it goes second, and so on.

You cannot walk up and hit these monuments. They are wrapped in Tsar’s White Birch and break apart if you get too close, so you have to trigger them from a distance. Use a character with a long-range Cryo attack, such as a Cryo bow user or a ranged Cryo skill, and fire at each monument from across the room.

When all four are lit in the right sequence, the nearby door unlocks. If nothing happens, you either lit a monument out of order or a melee hit shattered the birch around one of them. Reset by re-checking the doll counts and firing again from range.

Rewards and the second hidden room

Opening the door reveals a Precious Chest. That confirms the puzzle worked, and the quest is complete once you claim it.

Do not leave right away. The wall behind the chest opens into another concealed room holding an Exquisite Chest, a Radiant Spincrystal, and one more Cryoculus. Grab all three before you head out so you clear the area in a single visit.

With the ceiling lowered, both chests opened, and the extra Cryoculus in hand, there is nothing left to trigger in this part of the House of Hesperides. Keep a ranged Cryo character in your party while you explore Fellfrost Peak, since the birch-wrapped mechanics show up in other puzzles here too.
