Genshin Impact Bedroom Quest: How to Solve the Mountain Paintings Puzzle

The Bedroom quest hinges on four Mountain Paintings hidden around a single room in the House of Hesperides. Set each one to its correct position and the game rewards you with a Common chest and access to a Secret Chamber. If you spoke with Lazoreva during the VIP Lounge quest, she flags these paintings as the key to that hidden room.

Quick answer: Rotate all four Mountain Paintings to their correct angles. Use a Prime Ice Construct Cube built under the large stuck frame to turn it, then rotate the small painting on the back wall, the medium painting up the wall, and the small painting behind the bookshelf. When all four align, a Common chest spawns and the Secret Chamber opens.

Where to find the Bedroom in the House of Hesperides

Teleport to the Mountain Mansion Front Hall on the House of Hesperides main floor. Take the southern stairs up, then head west of the Elegant Snegurochka Statues. The room sits just there, with all four paintings inside.

If you have already finished the VIP Lounge quest, you can reach the room straight from Lazoreva. Leave the VIP Lounge, turn right, and step into the bedroom.

How to rotate all four Mountain Paintings

The goal is simple to state and easy to miss in practice. Every one of the four Mountain Paintings must sit in its correct position at the same time. Three can be turned by interacting with them directly, but the largest one is jammed and needs a workaround.

Open the Prime Ice Construct building menu and place a Cube directly under the big Mountain Painting frame. The frame won’t rotate on its own because the mechanism behind it is stuck. Building the Cube underneath forces it back into place. Paimon hints at this by noting a clacking device in the back that seems jammed.

Turn to the wall behind you and rotate the small Mountain Painting into its correct position. This one responds to a normal interaction.

Climb the same wall a short way until you reach the medium Mountain Painting, then rotate it. You need a little height to line up with it.

Glide down and move toward the bookshelf. Climb the shelf and rotate the last small Mountain Painting tucked behind it. That completes the set of four.
