Churin is a Local Legend hiding in plain sight at Fellfrost Peak in Snezhnaya, standing among a group of apprentices in an ice-sculpture training ground run by his master, Bragin. He looks frail, but he is the strongest fighter in that circle, and several of his moves can knock out your active character in a single hit. Clearing his fight with all three objectives grants a total of 60 Primogems.

Quick answer: Travel east from Svetloledovka to the ice-sculpture training ground north of the House of Hesperides, agree to the spar, then defeat Churin while breaking each ice block he summons. Bring a Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl team so he is interrupted before he can finish carving anything.

Churin location in Fellfrost Peak

Churin sits at the edge of the snowy mountain, in a training area filled with ice sculptures. Reaching him takes a short overland walk rather than any quest completion.

Head east from Svetloledovka until you find a path lined with ice sculptures. Keep following that road as it leads toward the training ground.

Churin’s training ground sits north of the House of Hesperides at the edge of Fellfrost Peak.
Continue along the road until you reach a group of people practicing ice sculpting. The spot is north of the House of Hesperides, still counted as part of Fellfrost Peak.
Agree to the spar and fight through the apprentices. After you clear them, you can challenge Churin directly to begin the Local Legend battle.

All three Churin objectives and rewards

The fight has three objectives, and two of them depend entirely on stopping his carving. The most important thing to understand is that letting him finish any sculpture works against you.

ObjectiveWhat it requires
Defeat Local Legend, ChurinReduce his HP to zero
Defeat Churin before he finishes carving the Big-Mouthed Jack FrostInterrupt or destroy the ice block before it becomes a Big-Mouthed Jack Frost
Defeat Churin before he finishes carving ice sculptures three timesDo not let any carving complete three separate times during the fight

How the Churin fight works

Throughout the battle, Churin summons a block of ice and starts carving it into a shape. If he completes the process, he creates a Big-Mouthed Jack Frost that fires powerful attacks at you. Preventing that carving is the core of the fight.

Even when the result is not a Big-Mouthed Jack Frost, he still shapes the ice block into other forms. Each time a carving finishes counts toward the limit. Once he completes a sculpture three times, the final objective fails, so speed matters.

Churin himself hits hard. Some of his attacks can one-shot your active character, so keep moving and stay ready to dodge. He also sometimes summons an Anemo vortex that stays fixed in place and keeps dealing damage to anyone standing inside its area of effect. Step out of it rather than trying to fight through it.

Best team to interrupt his carving

The reliable way to stop Churin from finishing a sculpture is to keep triggering the Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl reaction. With those reactions running, his carving is continuously interrupted, which makes both of the carving-based objectives manageable.

Note: A pure damage lineup such as a Mavuika team does not interrupt him the same way, and he will keep carving the Big-Mouthed Jack Frost through your attacks. Prioritize a Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl setup over raw output for this specific fight.

Confirming you cleared every objective

You have completed the fight cleanly when Churin’s HP hits zero without a Big-Mouthed Jack Frost ever forming and without three carvings finishing. If a carving completes for a third time, restart the encounter to get the last objective, since it can no longer be earned in that run. Clearing all three unlocks the full 60 Primogem reward from this Fellfrost Peak Local Legend.
