Update 32.5 reshuffles the fruit meta in Blox Fruits with a wide balance pass aimed squarely at PvP. Fruits saw the largest share of the changes, with a mix of straight buffs, targeted nerfs, and reworked tradeoffs. Kitsune and its Empyrean form lost some of their reliability, while long-neglected picks like Ghost, Spider, and Werewolf gained real staying power.
Quick answer: In Update 32.5, Dark, Dough, Dragon (Hybrid), Eagle, Fiend, Flame, Gas, Ghost, Ice, Mammoth, Phoenix, Quake, Sand, Spider, Tiger, Werewolf, and Yeti were buffed; Kitsune, Empyrean Kitsune, and Lightning were nerfed; Control, Diamond, and Pain were adjusted with new tradeoffs. All other fruits kept their existing stats.

Fruits nerfed in Update 32.5
The nerfs land on the picks that dominated recent PvP. The biggest hit is to Kitsune’s untransformed pressure, which now loses its guaranteed Instinct break on tap.
| Fruit | Key changes |
|---|---|
| Kitsune | Untransformed: Z tap no longer breaks Instinct and is now Instinct-trickable. X now channels on hit, so you cannot cast another ability until the animation finishes. C end-lag +0.3s. |
| Empyrean Kitsune | Untransformed: Z tap no longer breaks Instinct; Z hold damage −30%. X now channels on hit, blocking follow-up casts until it completes. C end-lag +0.3s. |
| Lightning | V tap hitbox −10%. V hold hitbox gained from charging −25%. |
Fruits adjusted with new tradeoffs
These three fruits were neither purely buffed nor nerfed. Each trades one strength for another, so how they feel depends on your playstyle.
| Fruit | Key changes |
|---|---|
| Control | Outside Domain: X cooldown +4s, hitbox −10%; C cooldown +4s; F end-lag +0.25s on hit. Dagger Mode: M1 damage +350% but cooldown +250%; X end-lag +0.25s, range −10%, hitbox −10%; C end-lag +0.5s, range −10%, hitbox −20%. |
| Diamond | M1 no longer breaks Instinct, cooldown −20%. C gains a 1-second stun. All damage −10%. |
| Pain | Last Stand passive reworked. It keeps you in combat while active, resets health to max and drains it over the duration, and disables healing. Defeating another player ends Last Stand and resets the meter to 0; NPC kills do not count. |

Instinct and gun changes that affect fruit combos
Two combat-wide changes shift how every fruit build plays. Instinct dodge regeneration is now faster, dropping from 40 seconds to 30 seconds, so opponents refresh their dodges sooner. Gun M1 attacks also gained Aim Assist, which matters if you pair a fruit with a ranged weapon.
Note: Several moves now specify whether they break Instinct or can be trickable. Moves that break Instinct connect through a dodge, while trickable moves can be baited out. This is why the Kitsune and Diamond changes read as nerfs even without damage cuts.
Fruits with no balance changes
The following fruits kept their movesets and stats exactly as they were. If you main one of these, nothing about your combos or cooldowns changed in this pass.
- Rocket, Spin, Blade, Spring, Bomb, Smoke, and Spike
- Light, Rubber, Magma, Buddha, Love, and Creation
- Sound, Portal, Blizzard, Gravity, and T-Rex
- Shadow, Venom, Spirit, and Dragon (awakened Western and Eastern forms; only the Hybrid form was touched)

How to confirm the changes in-game
The fastest way to verify a fruit’s new numbers is to open The Balance Log inside the game, which lists the reworked fruits by name. You can also test the moves directly on a target and watch for the specific behaviors called out above.
With Kitsune and Empyrean Kitsune reeled in and picks like Ghost, Spider, Werewolf, and Quake pushed up, the PvP pecking order shifts noticeably after this pass. If your main sits in the no-change list, its relative standing may still move simply because the fruits around it got stronger or weaker.
