Cookie Run: Crumble just got its first big content drop since the global launch, and it leans hard into the two things players have been asking for since day one: a new top-rarity Cookie to chase and a way to stop clicking through endless quests one at a time. The August 13 update pairs SSR Cool Mint Cookie with a batch of quality-of-life tools that cut down on the busywork the idle RPG is built around.

Quick answer: The update adds SSR Cool Mint Cookie, the Rune Crystal Dungeon, and quality-of-life features including bulk clearing of Guide Quests (after you clear 30 stages), bulk leveling for your active lineup, and auto-bake support for up to 20 gear pieces. You can review it all from the in-game announcements screen.

Cool Mint Cookie headlines the update as a new SSR unit. She is a Water Charge Cookie built around control, using a skill called Implant Excavation to knock enemies back and summon skulls that fight alongside your team. That combination of crowd control and summons makes her a disruptive front-line pick rather than a straightforward damage dealer.

The current featured pull is the Milky Way Cookie Pick-up Gacha. Cool Mint Cookie’s own pick-up banner arrives alongside the update, so if she’s your target, hold your currency for her banner rather than spending it on the rotating featured slot.

Quality-of-life changes that cut the grind

The headline fix is bulk quest clearing. Guide Quests could only be completed one tap at a time before, which stalled players who fell behind and left later content locked behind quests they hadn’t finished. Once you clear 30 stages of Guide Quests, you can now clear them in bulk instead of grinding each one individually.

ChangeWhat it doesRequirement
Bulk Clear Guide QuestsClears multiple Guide Quests at onceClear 30+ Guide Quest stages
Bulk Level UpLevels your entire active lineup at the same timeActive lineup
Auto Bake increaseRaises max auto-baked gear from 8 to 20Scales with Oven Level
Resolve buffDoubles ATK, DEF, and HP stat boostsResolve Lv. 101+
Arena resumeMatches continue from where they stopped after a forced app close instead of restartingArena

The auto-bake bump matters for gear farming, since the Oven runs in the background and sells off any gear tiers you’ve excluded. Pushing the ceiling from 8 to 20 pieces, tied to your Oven Level, means less manual gear management over a play session.

New dungeon and events

The Rune Crystal Dungeon is the update’s main new farming spot. You run it to collect Rune Crystals, which are then used to craft Sugar Runes. A Rune Crystal Dungeon Conquest event runs alongside it to reward early clears.

Two more limited events round out the rewards. The King Choco Drops Roulette gives you a spin-based reward loop, and a 7-Day Check-In Event hands out login rewards across the first week. Both are the kind of low-effort freebies that pair well with the idle progression system.

Balance and interface updates

On the balance side, Scorpion Cookie’s skill descriptions were updated for clarity. The interface also gets more precise numbers. Main stats such as Accuracy, Evasion, Focus, Resistance, and Skill Haste now show detailed decimal values, and summon stats display with their multipliers already applied, so you can see a summon’s real contribution instead of its base figure.

To confirm you have everything, open the in-game announcements and check that Cool Mint Cookie appears in the roster and the Rune Crystal Dungeon shows up in your dungeon list. If the bulk-clear button for Guide Quests still isn’t visible, it means you haven’t yet cleared 30 stages, which is the gate that unlocks it.
