The Innovation is a Seven-themed style for the Vanguard Slone outfit in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. It is not a one-and-done unlock. You earn it by clearing Weekly Quests across a five-week stretch, and Week 11 (“The Prophecy’s Exploration”) holds the final tasks that push you toward the complete set.
Quick answer: Complete 20 total Weekly Quests from Week 7 through Week 11 to unlock The Innovation (Helmet On) outfit style. You must own the Battle Pass and already have the base Vanguard Slone outfit unlocked for progress to count.

Requirements before the Innovation quests track
Two conditions must be met before any of your Weekly Quest completions register toward the Innovation set. Miss either one and the questline sits at zero no matter how much you play.
- Own the current Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass.
- Unlock the base Vanguard Slone outfit first, which requires reaching Level 60 and purchasing all cosmetics across both of her Battle Pass pages.
New Weekly Quests release every Thursday at 9 AM EDT. If you clear all available tasks early, you simply wait for the next batch to continue counting toward the milestones.

Progress is measured by the total number of Weekly Quests you finish during the Week 7 to Week 11 window. Each milestone hands over one piece of the Innovation set, and the full run also includes the Slone’s Code emote.
| Quests completed | Reward |
|---|---|
| 4 | Innovation Pack (Back Bling style) |
| 8 | Innovation Axe (Pickaxe style) |
| 12 | Innovation Wings (Glider style) |
| 16 | The Innovation (Outfit, Helmet Off) |
| 20 | The Innovation (Outfit, Helmet On) |
Because the Weekly Highlights tab typically holds four quests per week, clearing every quest from Week 7 onward keeps you exactly on pace to reach 20 by the end of Week 11.

Week 11 quests: The Prophecy’s Exploration
Week 11 adds five quests. Each one is straightforward and can be knocked out across a match or two.
| Quest | What to do |
|---|---|
| Begin a match with any max-level Sprite equipped | Equip a Level 5 Sprite before you queue |
| Triple-jump using Shock Rocks | Consume a Shock Rock, then jump three times mid-air |
| Search containers at Frosted Flats | Open 10 containers at Frosted Flats |
| Restore health shortly after being damaged by an opponent | Take damage, then heal quickly |
| Defeat a Boss | Duel and defeat a guaranteed-spawn boss |
Working through the five quests

Tip: You can group several of these into one match. Landing at Frosted Flats or near a boss lets you knock out the container search, the healing task, and the boss fight without dropping into fresh games each time.
How to confirm the unlock worked
When you cross the 20-quest threshold, a Quest Complete screen awards The Innovation style for the Vanguard Slone outfit. To equip it, open the Locker, select Vanguard Slone, and use the Edit Style button.
From there, you can switch the outfit to the Helmet On or Helmet Off Innovation look, and apply the matching Innovation Pack back bling, Innovation Axe pickaxe, and Innovation Wings glider to their base Vanguard cosmetics. If a milestone reward does not appear right away, revisit the Battle Pass or Quest menu and claim it manually.

Why progress stalls
If your count is not moving, the cause is almost always one of these, not a bug.
- You do not own the Battle Pass, so the questline does not track.
- The base Vanguard Slone outfit is not unlocked yet (Level 60 plus all cosmetics on her set).
- You cleared the current week’s quests and are waiting on the Thursday 9 AM EDT release for more.
- You skipped weeks and are short of the 20-quest total. You can still complete earlier Weekly Quests from Week 7 onward until the season closes.
- You attempted quests in bot lobbies. Weekly Quests need standard Battle Royale matches to track properly.
Timing matters here. Chapter 7 Season 4 (Override) launches Thursday, August 20, so this window is closing fast. Seasonal Battle Pass quest rewards are earned while the season is live, which means you should finish all 20 quests before Season 3 ends rather than counting on catching up later. If you are behind, prioritize the outstanding Weekly Highlights quests and batch the Week 11 tasks together to close the gap in as few matches as possible.
