SubCargo Full Walkthrough: How to Complete a Cargo Run (Roblox)

Follow the exact sequence to fuel your sub, load and secure freight, and dock without flooding the hull.

Follow the exact sequence to fuel your sub, load and secure freight, and dock without flooding the hull.

SubCargo drops you into a post-apocalyptic ocean where a submarine crew hauls freight between dock stops for cash. A single run moves through a fixed sequence of actions, from buying reactor fuel to sealing cargo and draining the ballast before you ever leave the bay. Miss a step and the sub floods, the reactor dies, or your freight gets destroyed on arrival.

Quick answer: Buy a Uranium Fuel Rod, board the submarine and load your cargo containers with the overhead crane, lock them down with magnets, insert the fuel rod to power the reactor, drain the flooded ballast tank, then pilot to the destination dock with the cargo still sealed inside to complete the delivery.

What you need before undocking

SubCargo is a co-op game built by DeltaCore Studio, and the official page recommends 2 or more players so one person is not trying to pilot, pump ballast, and repair leaks at once. You can practice solo, but every job below is easier with a second crew member watching the reactor while you handle cargo.

  • A Uranium Fuel Rod for the reactor (bought before you board)
  • A working welder and a fire extinguisher for breaches and fires
  • Ballast pumps tested so the sub holds depth instead of sinking
  • Clear cargo bay doors and a functioning overhead crane

You can open the experience from the official SubCargo game page (Place ID 79206495603893). The game is in alpha, so expect bugs and balance changes between updates.

Complete a cargo delivery run

You spawn in the Transit Control Hall. Walk through the tutorial screens covering scrap collection, selling scrap, suit lockers, oxygen refilling, hull repair, flooding, and water pumps, so you recognize each system once you are underwater.

Read the crane tutorial next. It shows how the overhead crane picks up and lowers cargo containers into the submarine, which is the exact tool you use a few steps later.
Visit the ReCore shop and buy a Uranium Fuel Rod from David the Salesman. The reactor cannot power up without it, so do this before you board.

Board the submarine, the CTV-09 ATLAS, and open the cargo wings. This exposes the bay so the crane can drop freight straight into place.
Operate the overhead crane to load your two Liquid Oxygen (LOX) cargo containers into the submarine’s bay. Line each one up over the bay before you release it so it settles cleanly.
Secure the containers with the magnets. Loose crates shift the sub’s trim and can slide into repair paths, so lock them down before you move.

Insert the Uranium Fuel Rod and power up the reactor. This brings the lights, pumps, and controls online for the trip.
Drain the flooded ballast tank. Until the water is pumped out, the sub will not rise or hold a neutral depth, so clear it before navigating.
Pilot the CTV-09 ATLAS through the dark underwater caverns toward the destination dock. Hold steady throttle. Jerky steering causes collisions, and each collision risks a hull breach that can void the payout.

Turn in the cargo at the marked dock by interacting with the delivery terminal, keeping both containers physically inside the hold. Damaged or missing freight cuts the payout, and a fully destroyed load can wipe it out.

Diving for scrap without losing the sub

You can leave the hull in a diving suit to grab scrap from underwater ruins along the route, and that loot sells for extra cash at the dock. But this is where runs collapse. Leaving the sub unattended during a dive means no one is watching hull integrity or the reactor, and a catastrophic hull breach combined with a power failure can flood the sub and kill everyone inside, including the diver on return.

Note: Treat any scrap detour as optional. If you dive, keep a crew member on repairs and recall to the sub the moment a hull alarm sounds. Skipping the dive entirely is the safest way to bank a clean delivery.

How to confirm the delivery worked

A successful turn-in pays out at the delivery terminal and awards the “Successful delivery!” badge for making your first submarine delivery. It is one of the rarer rewards in the game, earned by roughly 14 percent of players, so seeing it unlock confirms the whole run counted.

OutcomeReason
Delivery fails or diesHull breach floods the sub or the reactor loses power mid-run
Payout is reducedCargo is damaged, a container is missing from the hold, or you dock at the wrong stop
Sub sinks when you stopBallast tank still flooded or pumps not set to neutral
Reactor stays offlineNo Uranium Fuel Rod inserted

Because the game is still in alpha, contract payouts, dock layouts, and creature behavior shift between patches. Lock down the core loop first, meaning fuel the reactor, load and secure cargo, drain ballast, and dock with the freight intact, and every future run gets easier as the deeper routes and Larry encounters open up.
