How to Get the Reaper x Voodoo Fusion in Grow a Chicken Fighter

The Reaper Rooster is already one of the hardest-hitting chickens for the Tower and for player-versus-player fights in Grow a Chicken Fighter. Bolting the Voodoo skill onto it produces the Reaper x Voodoo build, and the only way to make that happen is a single, deliberate fusion.

Quick answer: Fuse the Reaper Rooster with the Doll Hen, and lock the Doll Hen’s Voodoo ability during the fusion so the finished Reaper Rooster keeps the Voodoo skill.

What you need before you can fuse

Two chickens are required, and both are among the rarest pulls in the game. You cannot buy the combination or unlock it any other way. You have to own each bird first, then combine them.

Farm Haunt Eggs to get the Reaper Rooster and Doll Hen

Because both target chickens sit at the bottom of the Haunt Egg drop table, you need a steady supply of those eggs. The fastest way to build one is to chain specific chickens until you reach a bird that lays Haunt Eggs on its own.

Hatch Nest Eggs until you pull a Cosmo Brat, then use that chicken to farm Scratch Eggs.

Hatch Scratch Eggs until you get a Slugger Hen, and use it to farm Arena Eggs.

Hatch Arena Eggs until the Creepy Clown appears. The Creepy Clown has a 75% chance to lay Haunt Eggs, which is your first reliable source.

Hatch those Haunt Eggs until you get a Zombie Chick. The Zombie Chick lays Haunt Eggs at a 100% rate, so it becomes your main egg factory.

Fuse two Zombie Chicks together to cut down their egg-laying time. A fused Zombie Chick produces Haunt Eggs much faster than a single one.

Keep hatching Haunt Eggs from the fused Zombie Chick until both the Doll Hen and the Reaper Rooster drop. This is the grind stage, since the Doll Hen sits at 2% and the Reaper Rooster is below 1%.

Tip: Do not open every Haunt Egg the moment you get it if you are also chasing other fusions. Banking rare eggs keeps material on hand instead of forcing you to farm the same chickens again later.

Fuse the Reaper Rooster and lock Voodoo

Once both chickens are in your collection, the fusion itself is quick. The one detail that decides whether you end up with the Reaper x Voodoo build is locking the correct ability before you confirm.

Open your Flock and start a fusion with the Reaper Rooster and the Doll Hen selected as the pair.

When you press Fuse, a second menu appears. Look at the bottom-left area, where the abilities of both chickens are listed.

Click the Doll Hen’s Voodoo ability to lock it. Locking that slot forces the finished chicken to carry Voodoo instead of leaving it to chance.

Confirm the fusion. The result is a Reaper Rooster that now has the Voodoo skill attached.

Note: Unlocked fields are not guaranteed to copy over, and the fusion cost rises with the base chicken’s level. Locking the Voodoo slot early keeps the important trait secure and the price lower.

How to confirm the fusion worked

Check the ability slot on your new Reaper Rooster after fusing. If Voodoo is listed there, the build is complete and ready for the Pit, the Tower, and PvP. If the slot shows something else, the Voodoo ability was not locked during the fusion, and you will need another Doll Hen to try again.

From here you can stack more fusions onto the same fighter to push its stats higher. The Reaper x Voodoo combination is the payoff for the long Haunt Egg grind, so once it lands, keep that bird on your active team rather than feeding it back into another fusion.
