Everything added in Fisch’s minor update, including the new hybrid weapon, the Stabilizer Chip, and a limited-time code.

Fisch just picked up a minor update built around a single headline item, a fishing rod and harpoon gun hybrid called the Halibut Harpoon. Alongside it come a free developer gift, an underwater movement fix, new mastery quests, fresh skins, a Double Luck Weekend, and a limited-time code you can redeem right now.

Quick answer: Launch Fisch, open the codes menu, and enter CollectMyPufferfish to claim the reward before it expires. To get the Halibut Harpoon itself, finish Dr. Monty’s questline in The Deep.

How to get the Halibut Harpoon

The Halibut Harpoon is the centerpiece of the update. It works as both a fishing rod and a harpoon gun, and it carries its own passive minigame that sets it apart from standard gear.

Travel to The Deep. Dr. Monty is set up somewhere in that region, and he is the only source for this weapon.
Start and complete his questline. It is described as an unusual chain of tasks rather than a simple fetch quest, so expect several objectives before the reward unlocks.
Finish the final objective to receive the Halibut Harpoon. You will know it worked when the weapon appears in your Equipment Bag and can be equipped like any other rod or harpoon gun.

Stabilizer Chip for underwater harpoon fishing

The Stabilizer Chip is a new toggle module for the Survey Device, and it directly fixes the biggest problem with using harpoon guns underwater. With it active, you move up and down smoothly instead of slowly sinking, which makes aiming and firing below the surface far more reliable.

You do not need to hunt for it if you have already progressed the right content. Players who completed Nereus’s quest receive the chip automatically. If you have not, you get it as a free gift once you fix the Survey Device.

Redeem the CollectMyPufferfish code

The update ships with one active code, CollectMyPufferfish. Codes in Fisch can expire without warning, so redeem it soon rather than later.

Open Fisch and load into the game.
Open the codes menu and type CollectMyPufferfish exactly as written, matching the capitalization.
Confirm to redeem. A successful entry applies the reward to your account immediately; if nothing happens, the code has likely expired.

Developer Gift and Double Luck Weekend

A limited-time Developer Gift is available to every player as a thank-you from the team. Because it is time-limited, claim it while the window is open.

Running alongside it is a Double Luck Weekend, which raises your fishing luck for a short period. Pair it with the new code and your best rods to make the most of the boosted odds before it ends.

Plaguereaver Mastery and Sunshell Merchant skins

If you already own the Plaguereaver, three new mastery quests let you strengthen it. They are not meant to be easy, but completing all three delivers a meaningful upgrade to the weapon.

The Sunshell Merchant has also refreshed its stock with new skins for the Lemonade Serenade, so you can swap in a different look if you use that rod.

Black Market Restock timing

The Black Market is restocking this Sunday, bringing back a limited rod and additional stock that will be gone permanently afterward. It appears twice to cover different timezones, so watch for the window that lines up with your region if you want the limited rod before it disappears.

Between the hybrid weapon, the underwater movement fix, and the short-lived luck boost, this is a compact update with a clear priority order. Grab the free gift and code first since both are time-limited, then work through Dr. Monty’s questline in The Deep for the Halibut Harpoon.
