Anime Origins is a wave-based tower defense RPG on Roblox where you summon anime-inspired units, evolve and ascend them, and grind through modes like Story, raids, World Bosses, rifts, and the Infinite Mansion. The early game rewards a tight order of operations, because spending gems, rerolls, or evolution materials in the wrong place stalls your whole account.
Quick answer: Redeem every active code, clear Story Mode on both Normal and Hard for first-clear rewards, and summon on the Beginner’s Banner. Aim Vegita first because he is easy to evolve and gives Hill coverage, then run Story and farm Trait Rerolls from raids and weekly quests.
The early progression order that avoids resource bottlenecks
Follow this sequence so your power keeps up as difficulty rises. Each step feeds the next, and skipping ahead usually means failing content your units are not ready for.

Gems are the main summon currency, and they come from both active play and passive income. Covering both streams every day is the quickest way to build a pull reserve.
| Active source | Gems |
|---|---|
| Daily Quests | 1,600+ per day |
| Weekly Quests | 3,000+ per week |
| Permanent Quests | 500+ |
| Story Mode (first clear, Hard) | ~1,800 per stage |
| Challenges | 1,000 per day |
| Infinite Mansion | 100+ per floor |
| Passive source | Gems | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Rewards | 1,500+ | Log in daily; rewards vary by login date |
| Playtime Rewards | Up to 1,600 | Play a set number of hours each day |
| AFK Chamber | Variable | Earns gems passively over time |
| Level Milestones | One-time | Claim as you level up |
| Daily Spin | 150 | Free spin each day; can give gems, rerolls, or gold |
| Codes | Variable | Redeem on release |
Level up your player level fast
Your player level is the single most important stat for progression. It unlocks raids at Level 10 and gates various shop purchases, so raising it opens up the rest of the game.
| Method | EXP | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Story Mode | +200 | Best method; clear every stage on both difficulties |
| Daily Challenges | 500 | Steady daily EXP on top of gems |
| Legend Stages | High | Similar returns to Story but needs a stronger team |

Best beginner units and who to prioritize
Units carry your entire defense, and getting the right ones early speeds up everything else. Hill coverage matters most at the start because most other units are Ground type, which leaves flying enemies unpunished.
| Unit | Priority | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Vegita | #1 | Easiest early unit to evolve; provides Hill coverage needed to kill flying enemies; strong meta pick |
| Bluma | #2 | Best mythic farm unit; generates income passively; grab her as early as possible |
| Goki | #3 | Strong Ground unit that is very easy to evolve |
| Aneko | #4 | The second Hill unit in the game; important backup against flying units |
| Itsugo | #5 | Evolves from rare all the way to mythic, so it is one of the easiest to fully evolve |

If you can only chase one summon, Bluma is the highest-priority pull for long-term income, since her passive effects compound over a run. If you want raw combat first, Aneko gives you a second Hill unit to cover flying enemies alongside Vegita, and both Goki and Melio are reliable general-purpose picks. Valcrad is the Secret unit at a 1-in-10,000 rate and arrives fully evolved with the Immortal trait, the rarest and strongest in the game. He is an instant team cornerstone if you pull him, but with a 0.01% rate you should not burn every gem chasing him.
How to evolve units
Evolving is close to mandatory for end-game content because it raises a unit’s power ceiling sharply. Every evolution needs two things: Remnants and unit-specific materials.
Remnants are crystals that drop from completing Challenges, so run your dailies regularly to keep a stockpile ready. The unit-specific materials are farmed by running Legend Stages, or you can buy them straight from the World Boss, Rift, and Raid shops.

How to ascend units
Ascension is the dupe system, and it adds combat buffs at each tier. You feed duplicate units or Fusion Cores to the ascension NPC to fill each level. Because Fusion Cores drop from World Bosses and their shop, you can ascend without ever pulling a duplicate.

| Ascension level | Buff |
|---|---|
| I | +3% Damage |
| II | +5% Range |
| III | +5% Damage |
| IV | +25% Crit Chance |
| V | +25% Crit Damage |
Farm Trait Rerolls and Stat Prisms
Optimizing units eats a huge number of Trait Rerolls and Stat Prisms, so build a short daily routine around the activities that drop them at once.

- Playtime Rewards: Staying in-game hits your playtime targets, which drip rerolls and gems while you do other things.
- Raid shops: Farm the Fairy Forest and Entertainment District raids, then spend the currency in their shops on rerolls.
- World Boss and Rift shops: Both consistently stock rerolls for their specific currencies, so do not skip these modes.
- Quests: Standard daily and weekly quests are one of the most reliable ways to keep a steady flow of rerolls.
- Update codes: Check for new promo codes right after each patch, since they regularly hand out free rerolls.
- Daily Spin: It is luck-based, but a free daily spin is another shot at extra rerolls.

A daily routine that keeps you moving
Log in and claim Daily Rewards first. Clear Daily Quests for 1,600+ gems, then the Daily Challenge for 1,000 gems and 500 EXP, and take your Daily Spin. Farm Story or Legend Stages depending on how strong your team is, check the War Boss, Rift, and Raid shops for Fusion Cores, rerolls, and evolution materials, and spend whatever time is left in the Infinite Mansion. Stick to that loop and your gems, levels, and unit power all climb together without any single system holding you back.
