Anomaly is the top rarity in Dig and Clean, sitting above the Omega category after Update 2 added it to the game. There are four Anomaly items in total, including the Moon and the Great White Shark, and they can surface on any of the four islands, home beach included. What makes them so hard to land is a very low detection rate paired with heavy Weight, so you need both high Luck and a strong shovel before you go hunting.
Quick answer: Push your Luck as high as possible with the Eclipse Detector (or the Reaper Detector), the Frozen Shores 8x passive boost, and the 2x Luck gamepass, carry the Eclipse or Sugilite Shovel for the Weight, then dig the instant you see a dark green beam shoot into the sky.

Raise your Luck to unlock Anomaly odds
Your chance of pulling a rare find is tied directly to your Luck stat. Anomaly items sit at the very bottom of the odds table, so the single most important thing you can do is drive that number up as far as it will go. Luck comes mostly from your detector, with island bonuses and a gamepass layered on top.
The Eclipse Detector is the strongest one you can buy outright. It lives on Frozen Shores and gives a x10,500 Luck multiplier, though it costs 320,000,000,000 Gold. Frozen Shores itself also hands every player an 8x Luck boost just for being there, which is higher than any other island grants.
If you have Robux, the Reaper Bundle is the fastest jump. It includes the Reaper Detector, which always sits 350% above your best detector. Pair it with the Eclipse Detector and it produces a x47,250 Luck multiplier.
| Source | Luck effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Eclipse Detector | x10,500 Luck | 320,000,000,000 Gold on Frozen Shores |
| Reaper Detector (Reaper Bundle) | x47,250 Luck with Eclipse | Always 350% better than your best detector; Robux purchase |
| Frozen Shores passive | 8x Luck | Applies to every player on the island |
| 2x Luck gamepass | 2x Luck | Permanent, bought from the Store |

Add to Google Preferences →Carry a shovel with enough Power
Luck gets an Anomaly item to appear, but Weight decides whether you can actually pull it out of the ground. Anomaly finds are extremely heavy, so a weak shovel will leave you standing over a beam you cannot claim. Grab either the Eclipse Shovel or the Sugilite Shovel from Frozen Shores before you head out. Both carry enough Power to lift Anomaly-tier Weight.

Use Admin Abuse events for the best odds
Admin Abuse events are the strongest window for chasing Anomaly items. During these sessions the developer stacks huge Luck boosts and directly spawns Anomaly items to help players fill out their collections. They run weekly, so lining your hunts up with them gives you a far better shot than farming alone on a normal day.
Spot the dark green beam and dig fast
Every buried item fires a colored light beam once your detector identifies it, and the color tells you the rarity. An Anomaly item throws up a dark green beam that rises from the ground straight into the sky. The moment you see it, dig immediately, because other players in the same server can beat you to the spot.
Tip: Play in a private server to remove the competition entirely. You can create one for free and set your own join rules, and it holds up to five players, so you can invite friends without opening the beam up to strangers.
You will know it worked once the item drops into your inventory as a dirty find. Clean it at a Workstation to reveal the Anomaly identity, then place it on a pedestal in your base. With good Luck, an Anomaly item can even come up in Mint condition, which gives the highest display value.
Free Luck from codes
Redeeming codes in the Shop stacks extra Luck on top of your gear, which is useful right before a farming run. Enter these in the codes box at the bottom of the Shop menu and press Redeem.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| SECRET10 | 10x Luck for 10 minutes |
| UPDATE1 | 2x Luck for 30 minutes |
| UPDATE2 | 5 Instant Cleans |
Save the timed Luck codes for a moment when your best detector, shovel, and island are all ready, ideally during an Admin Abuse event. A short burst of stacked Luck on top of the Eclipse or Reaper setup gives you the cleanest shot at finally seeing that dark green beam.
