Palworld: How to Get the Legendary Beam Launcher Schematic

The Legendary Beam Launcher is the top rarity of Palworld’s highest-damage launcher, and building it requires a specific schematic held in your inventory. That blueprint comes from a handful of end-game sources, all with steep odds, so knowing exactly where to farm saves a lot of wasted runs.

Quick answer: Beat Auri and Shaolong on Hard Mode for a 10% chance at the schematic, or pull it from a Legendary Treasure Map (0.149%) or the Ancient Relic Recycler. Then craft it at an Ancient Workbench at Level 80.

Where the Legendary Beam Launcher Schematic drops

There are three ways to obtain the schematic. The tower boss fight has by far the best odds, while the treasure map and relic recycling are low-percentage fallbacks you can chip away at over time.

SourceDrop rate
Auri & Shaolong (Tower, Hard Mode)10%
Legendary Treasure Map0.149%
Glistening Ancient Relic (recycled)0.029%
Glowing Ancient Relic (recycled)0.008%
Gorgeous Ancient Relic (recycled)0.003%
Dormant Ancient Relic (recycled)0.001%

Defeat Auri and Shaolong on Hard Mode

The Azure Covenant tower sits on the Azure Tapestry in Sunreach, at coordinates -419, -1431. To open the altar that fast travels you there, you first need to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor at the Feybreak Tower.

You also have to clear Auri and Shaolong once on Normal Mode before the Hard Mode version of the fight unlocks. Only the Hard Mode clear drops the Legendary schematic, and that drop lands roughly one in ten times, so expect repeat attempts.

Pull it from a Legendary Treasure Map

Legendary Treasure Maps come from Feybreak Sea Bases. Once you track down the marked treasure spot, there is a 0.149% chance the loot includes the Legendary Beam Launcher schematic. It is a slim shot, but a passive one to run alongside boss farming.

Recycle Ancient Relics

Feeding Ancient Relics into the Ancient Relic Recycler can also yield the schematic. Higher-grade relics have better odds, so Glistening Ancient Relics give the strongest chance of the four grades that can produce it.

Crafting cost and requirements

With the schematic in hand, the Legendary Beam Launcher is built at an Ancient Workbench once you reach Level 80. The materials lean heavily on late-game resources, so stock up before you start.

Note: The craft option only appears when the schematic is sitting in your inventory. If you leave it in a storage chest, the recipe stays hidden even with every material gathered.

Legendary vs common stats

The Legendary tier is a straight upgrade over the standard Beam Launcher. It hits harder and lasts far longer before breaking, with durability nearly quadrupled.

StatLegendaryCommon
Attack16,80014,000
Durability14,0003,500

At 16,800 attack, the Legendary Beam Launcher is one of the hardest-hitting weapons in the game, built for large-area alpha bursts rather than sustained fire. Watch the overheat during rapid firing, and keep it slotted for opening boss encounters where a single high-density beam does the most work.
