Rebirth 19 is the newest rung on the Steal a Brainrot progression ladder, added in Update 61 after a roughly eight-month gap since the previous milestone. It is built for players who already sit at the top of the economy, and it asks for a Secret unit plus a cash pile most bases will never see by accident.
Quick answer: Hold 30 Qa cash and a La Grande Combinasion in your base, then hit Rebirth. You lose both, and you gain a 19x cash multiplier, 250 trillion cash, +10 seconds of base lock, one extra Brainrot slot on the top floor, and the Mythic Grief Shield.
Rebirth 19 rewards in Steal a Brainrot
Every reward here is permanent except the cash payout, which is a one-time refund meant to stop you from restarting completely broke. The multiplier is the reason to do it at all.
| Reward | Effect |
|---|---|
| 19x Cash Multiplier | Every Brainrot in your base earns at a 19x rate |
| 250 Trillion Cash | One-time payout after the reset |
| +10 Seconds Lock Base | Longer window where your base cannot be entered |
| +1 Brainrot Slot | Added to the topmost floor of your base |
| Grief Shield | Mythic gear that absorbs one hit from a griefer |

Add to Google Preferences →How the Grief Shield works during a steal
The Grief Shield is passive. There is no button to press and no cooldown to track. It sits in your gear and soaks a single hit from another player while you are running a steal, then breaks.
The important limit: it does not protect you from the owner of the Brainrot you are taking. A random third party who slaps you mid-escape gets blocked once. The person whose unit you just grabbed can still knock you down freely.
Rebirth 19 requirements and cash cost
Two things gate the reset, and both are consumed when you confirm it. There is no partial credit and no way to skip ahead — the rebirth system runs in order, so Rebirth 18 has to be done before Rebirth 19 appears as an option.
| Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|
| 30 Qa cash | Spent on rebirth; your balance resets |
| La Grande Combinasion | Secret Brainrot, must be sitting in your base |
Open the Rebirth menu on the left side of the screen and check that both lines are ticked before confirming. The unit requirement is the one people get wrong, because a La Grande Combinasion in transit on the conveyor does not count until it is placed.

For context on the scale, the previous milestone, Rebirth 18, listed a 100 Qa cash requirement. Rebirth 19 is cheaper in raw cash but adds the Secret unit condition on top.
How to get La Grande Combinasion
La Grande Combinasion is a Secret Brainrot that generates $10 million per second, which makes it useful for the cash grind as well as being the entry ticket. It has been handed out through several limited events over time, including the Backrooms Event, the Cybercraft Event, and the Escape Tsunami LTM, and those routes are closed.
What still works:
- Red Carpet spawn
- Admin Lucky Block, at a 0.5% chance
- Sammy’s Base
- RNG Machine
- Stealing one from another player
Reaching 30 Qa cash
Thirty quadrillion is not something you accumulate from a mid-tier base. The practical route is filling every slot with OG and Secret units and letting the passive income run, topped up by cash prizes from the wheel.
Strawberry Elephant, Meowl, Dragon Cannelloni, Griffin, and Hydra Dragon Cannelloni are the kind of units that make the number reachable. Because the cash is consumed on rebirth, there is no benefit to overshooting the target by a wide margin — get to 30 Qa, confirm, and start rebuilding under the higher multiplier.
What to check before you press Rebirth
Rebirth 19 is a long grind for a fairly narrow set of gains, but the 19x multiplier compounds against everything you rebuild afterwards, and the extra top-floor slot permanently raises your income ceiling. The Grief Shield is the one reward worth reading twice before you rely on it in a raid.
