Rebel Wolves has settled on the final PC specs for The Blood of Dawnwalker, the Unreal Engine 5 dark fantasy RPG that puts you in the boots of Coen, a half-human, half-vampire trying to save his family across 30 in-game days and nights. The good news for anyone on aging hardware is that the bar dropped considerably from where it started, and the developer now lists four separate performance targets instead of one blunt minimum-and-recommended split.

Quick answer: A GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 with 6GB of VRAM, a Core i5-11400F or Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB of RAM, and 60GB of free SSD space runs the game at 1080p/30fps on Low with upscaling enabled. For 1440p/60fps on High, you need an RTX 4060, RX 7600 XT, or Intel Arc B580.

The Blood of Dawnwalker PC specs for every performance target

Each tier below assumes an upscaler is switched on, so treat the resolutions as output targets rather than native render resolutions. Every row shares the same 16GB of RAM and 60GB SSD requirement.

TargetCPUGPUVRAM
1080p / 30fps, LowIntel Core i5-11400F or AMD Ryzen 7 2700XGeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 5806GB or more
1080p / 60fps, MediumIntel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700XGeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, GTX 1070 Ti, Radeon RX 5700, or Intel Arc A7508GB or more
1440p / 60fps, HighIntel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700XGeForce RTX 4060, Radeon RX 7600 XT, or Intel Arc B5808GB or more
2160p / 60fps, UltraIntel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3DGeForce RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 907012GB or more

The entry point is the headline here. A GTX 1060 is a decade-old card, and the RX 580 is not far behind it, which puts a game this visually dense within reach of machines that would normally be shut out of a 2026 release. The trade-off is the usual one — 30fps at 1080p on the lowest preset, with an upscaler carrying part of the load.

Intel’s Arc cards show up in two of the four tiers, with the A750 covering 1080p/60 and the B580 listed alongside the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 XT for 1440p. That is still unusual for a big-budget release, and it means an Arc build is a legitimate option here rather than a footnote.

Requirements that apply to every tier: 16GB RAM, 60GB SSD, DirectX 12

Four things do not change no matter which preset you aim for. An SSD is mandatory across the board, and 8GB of system memory is not an option at any setting.

ComponentRequirement
Memory16GB
Storage60GB, SSD required
DirectX12
Operating systemWindows 10 or higher

Note: the 60GB install figure is smaller than a lot of open-world releases, but the SSD requirement is not a suggestion. A mechanical drive will hurt streaming in a game built around dense city exploration and rooftop traversal.

Upscaling is now baked into the targets

This is the single most important detail for interpreting the numbers. The final figures assume DLSS, FSR, or XeSS is active. The earlier spec sheet Rebel Wolves published in April measured everything at native resolution with no upscaling and no frame generation, which is why those older numbers looked so much heavier.

Practically, that means you should not expect the listed GPU to hit the listed framerate with upscaling turned off. If you prefer native rendering, aim a tier or two above your resolution target.

How the final specs compare to the April requirements

The version revealed during the Road to Launch stream in April asked for far more silicon, mostly because it was measured natively. A 4K/60 Ultra target once meant an RTX 5090; it now lands on an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 9070.

TierApril list (native)Final list (with upscaling)
Minimum CPUCore i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 3700XCore i5-11400F or Ryzen 7 2700X
Minimum GPURTX 3050, GTX 1070, RX Vega 56, or Arc A580GTX 1060 or RX 580

4K / 60 Ultra GPURTX 5090RTX 4070 Ti or RX 9070

The CPU side moved the most in spirit. The April sheet leaned on parts like the Core i5-13600K and Ryzen 9 7950X for its top tiers, while the final Ultra target tops out at a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Checking your PC against the list

Confirm your VRAM first, since it is the hardest ceiling here. Press Windows + R, type dxdiag, and open the Display tab to see your graphics card and its dedicated memory.
Match that VRAM figure to your intended target. 6GB clears the minimum tier, 8GB is needed for 1080p/60 and 1440p/60, and 12GB is the floor for 4K on Ultra — an 8GB card will not get there regardless of how fast the GPU itself is.
Check your RAM and storage. The System Information page in Windows settings shows installed memory, and 16GB is the hard requirement. Then make sure the 60GB of free space sits on an SSD rather than a secondary hard drive.

The Blood of Dawnwalker arrives on September 3rd, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, published by Bandai Namco. Rebel Wolves has confirmed the game went gold ahead of launch, so the spec sheet above is the one to plan your build around.
