World of Warcraft: Razor Hill Shaman Trainer Location (Swart)

Horde shamans leveling out of the starting zones can train their next ranks at Razor Hill, the orc settlement in central Durotar. The trainer you are looking for is an orc named Swart, and he stands inside the town’s largest building rather than out in the open.

Where Razor Hill sits in Durotar

Razor Hill is built on a crossroads in the middle of Durotar, at roughly coordinates 54, 43. The southern road runs down to Sen’jin Village and the Valley of Trials, the northern road leads to Orgrimmar, and the western route crosses toward the Northern Barrens. If you are arriving from the troll or orc starting areas, you simply follow the road north until you reach the town.

Once you enter the settlement, the Razor Hill Barracks stands out as its most prominent building and is easy to locate.

How to reach Swart the Shaman Trainer

Travel to Razor Hill in central Durotar. Open your world map to confirm your position; the town is marked directly north of Sen’jin Village and south of the road to Orgrimmar.

Head for the large fortress building at the center of town. This is the Razor Hill Barracks, and it is noticeably taller and wider than the surrounding structures.

Move to the main entrance, which is flanked by tall red Horde banners. Run straight toward the wooden doorway between them.

Walk through the entrance and follow the short hallway inside. It opens into a large circular chamber that serves as the town’s training hall.

In the circular room, head beneath the large red Horde banner at the rear wall. Swart <Shaman Trainer> is positioned by the outer edge; click him to bring up the training window.

How to confirm you found the right trainer

When you target the correct NPC, his name reads Swart <Shaman Trainer> and his greeting line is “May the spirits be with you.” Opening his dialogue gives you the option to learn new shaman abilities and ranks. Swart trains all shaman levels, unlike the starter-zone trainers such as Shikrik in the Valley of Trials, who only teach through level 6 abilities.
