A Peon’s Burden: How to Complete the WoW Classic Quest

A Peon’s Burden is a short Horde delivery quest in Durotar for World of Warcraft Classic. A peon named Ukor carried a load of food to the Valley of Trials, found nobody needed it, and now wants a braver traveler to return it to Razor Hill. It rewards easy experience and reputation, and it points new Orc and Troll characters toward the town that sits between the starting zone and Orgrimmar.

This quest was removed from the retail game in patch 4.0.3a, so it can only be picked up and finished in World of Warcraft Classic.

Where to find Ukor in Durotar

Ukor stands on the road east of the Valley of Trials, near the split where the path branches toward Razor Hill and Sen’jin Village. His approximate location is 52.0, 68.3. Leave the Valley of Trials and stay on the road, and you will run straight into him.

How to complete A Peon’s Burden

Talk to Ukor on the road and accept A Peon’s Burden. Accepting the quest automatically places Ukor’s Burden in your bags, so there is nothing extra to loot or click.

Continue along the road until you reach the main north/south road that runs through Durotar. Turn north (left) toward Razor Hill. Turning south instead leads to Sen’jin Village, which is the wrong direction.

Run north along the dirt trail. You will pass Razor Hill Grunt guards on the way, but they are friendly and will not stop you.

Keep following the road until the fortified entrance gates of Razor Hill come into view. This is the settlement where you will hand in the food.

Make for Razor Hill’s central area, where the large fortified bunker and inn buildings are located. Innkeeper Grosk is at about 51.6, 41.6.

Go inside and talk to Innkeeper Grosk; a yellow question mark identifies him. Pick A Peon’s Burden, select your reward, and press Complete Quest.

If Grosk only opens his merchant menu instead of the quest dialogue, log out and back in or check for a client patch, as a display glitch has occasionally moved him away from his inn spot.

Rewards for A Peon’s Burden

You choose one of two consumable stacks at turn-in. Both are basic level-appropriate food and drink.

You also gain 110 experience on original Classic realms (150 experience on Season of Mastery), plus 25 reputation with Orgrimmar and 25 reputation with the Darkspear Trolls.

How to confirm the quest is done

After you click Complete Quest, the chat log shows the experience and reputation gains, and A Peon’s Burden drops off your quest log. Ukor’s Burden is also removed from your bags. If you want to double-check the completion flag, type this command in-game.

A result of true confirms the quest is registered as finished. Once that shows, Ukor’s food is back on the shelves in Razor Hill and you are free to continue on toward Orgrimmar.
