The full material list, farming spots, and NPC location you need to upgrade the melee style.

Muay Thai V2 is an upgraded melee style in Rock Fruit that improves the base Muay Thai moveset and adds enemy-tracking on its attacks. Unlocking it is a crafting job rather than a quest. You bring a set of materials and a large Beli payment to a specific NPC, and the style is added to your moveset once the trade goes through.

Quick answer: Own Muay Thai V1, then take 850M Beli, 5 Boxing Shorts, 10 Banana Leaf, 1 Boxing Gloves, and 2 Gas Cylinder to the MuayThaiV2 NPC on Starter Island and complete the upgrade.

Muay Thai V2 crafting requirements

The upgrade consumes Muay Thai V1 along with several crafted and dropped items. You must have all of them in your inventory at the same time, plus the Beli cost.

Banana Leaf10
Boxing Gloves1
Gas Cylinder2

Note: Muay Thai V1 is a hard prerequisite. You buy it on Forest Island first, and the V2 upgrade will not start without it in your possession.

Where to get each material

Two of the items are crafted at the crafting table, one comes from dungeons, and the rest come from enemy farming. Farming Bacon Strong enemies is the main way to collect the drop-based components, and the Dungeon Shop covers the dungeon currency purchases.

MaterialHow to obtain
Banana LeafFound in dungeons or bought from the Dungeon Shop for 1 Dungeon Point each
Gas CylinderCrafted at the crafting table
Boxing ShortsCrafted at the crafting table (25% base success rate)
Boxing GlovesCollected through material farming, including Bacon Strong enemies and the Dungeon Shop
Muay Thai (V1)Purchased on Forest Island

Boxing Shorts are the slow part of the checklist. Each craft has only a 25% chance to succeed, but the crafting table uses a pity system that guarantees a successful craft on the 5th attempt. Because you need 5 Boxing Shorts total, plan for a lot of table time and enough base materials to cover repeated failed attempts.

How to unlock Muay Thai V2

Travel to Forest Island and buy Muay Thai V1 if you do not already own it. This is the base style the upgrade builds on, and it stays a required item during the trade.
Craft your Gas Cylinders and Boxing Shorts at the crafting table. Keep crafting Boxing Shorts until you hit five, relying on the 5th-attempt pity to cover the low success rate.
Run dungeons and farm Bacon Strong enemies to gather your Banana Leaf, Boxing Gloves, and any remaining drops. Spend Dungeon Points in the Dungeon Shop to top up Banana Leaf at 1 point each until you reach ten.
Save up 850M Beli, then go to the MuayThaiV2 NPC on Starter Island. Interact with it and confirm the upgrade to spend the Beli and consume your materials.

How to confirm the upgrade worked

After the trade completes, Muay Thai V2 appears as an equippable melee style in your moveset. The new kit uses the Z, X, C, and V keys, and its attacks track enemies rather than firing in a fixed direction. If the style shows up and the moves connect on targets you are facing, the unlock succeeded.

If the NPC refuses the upgrade, the cause is almost always a missing requirement. Check that Muay Thai V1 is still in your inventory, that you have the exact counts of all five materials, and that you are holding the full 850M Beli. A failed Boxing Shorts craft can quietly leave you short of the five you need, so recount before making the trip to Starter Island.
