Grounded 2: How to Get the Secret Omni-Tool Upgrade at the Glitter Bar

Find the hidden Glitter Bar terminal in the Ceremony biome to speed up Pete's Omni-Tool and give the SCA.B 2K a night glow.

Find the hidden Glitter Bar terminal in the Ceremony biome to speed up Pete’s Omni-Tool and give the SCA.B 2K a night glow.

The Into the Abyss update tucks two optional Omni-Tool tweaks behind a hidden terminal that most players walk right past. Both are crafted at the Glitter Bar inside a lab at the Ranger Outpost: Statue, and one of them noticeably speeds up how fast you harvest grass and other plants.

Quick answer: Travel to the Ranger Outpost: Statue in the Ceremony biome, enter the lab, use the Glitter Bar terminal, and craft the Omni-Tool upgrade (6 Northern Scorpion Chunks and 17 Caterpillar Goop) for faster harvesting or the SCA.B 2K upgrade (12 Northern Scorpion Pincers and 3 Blueberry Leather) for a night glow.

Where the Glitter Bar is located

The terminal sits inside a lab at the Ranger Outpost: Statue, found in the Ceremony biome. Open your map and set a marker for the outpost, then head to the entrance and drop into the facility below.

Inside, the lab holds two useful stations. The Forbidden Workbench is used for crafting stranger weapons, and the Glitter Bar is the terminal that handles these tool upgrades. Walk up to the purple console on the table to open the upgrade menu.

Both upgrades and what they cost

The Glitter Bar offers two separate customizations. One tunes Pete’s Omni-Tool for quicker harvesting, and the other adds a glow effect to the SCA.B 2K. Gather the materials below before you make the trip.

UpgradeMaterialsEffect
Omni-Tool (+1 Omni-Axe)6 Northern Scorpion Chunks, 17 Caterpillar GoopIncreases harvesting speed
SCA.B 2K (+1 SCA.B 2K)12 Northern Scorpion Pincers, 3 Blueberry LeatherAdds a night-glow effect

Craft the faster Omni-Tool upgrade

Interact with the Glitter Bar terminal and choose the “Customize Pete’s Omni-Tool!” option to view the harvesting upgrade.
Confirm the craft with 6 Northern Scorpion Chunks and 17 Caterpillar Goop in your inventory. This applies the +1 Omni-Axe boost, which raises your harvesting speed.
Equip the Omni-Tool and chop grass to feel the difference. The chopping animation completes faster, so you clear plant fiber and similar resources in fewer swings than before.

Craft the SCA.B 2K glow upgrade

At the same terminal, select the “Customize Pete’s SCA.B 2K!” option to open the glow customization.
Craft it using 12 Northern Scorpion Pincers and 3 Blueberry Leather. This grants the +1 SCA.B 2K modification, which makes the device glow in the dark.

Head into a dark space such as a cave to confirm the effect. The SCA.B 2K now emits its own light, which helps you see in low-visibility areas.

How to confirm each upgrade worked

After crafting, the Glitter Bar shows the upgrade as applied, and the change carries over into gameplay. The Omni-Tool clears grass and plants in a shorter time, and the SCA.B 2K produces a visible glow once you step into darkness. If a craft does not go through, the most common reason is missing materials, so top up your Northern Scorpion parts, Caterpillar Goop, or Blueberry Leather and try the terminal again.
