The 24-hour D-O event brings a new iconic droid, base paint, Nova Crystals, and triple stacked bonuses to the Fortnite tycoon.

The D-O droid is arriving in Star Wars: Droid Tycoon as a limited 24-hour event, giving players a short window to unlock a new iconic droid and cash in on stacked crafting bonuses. The event runs across a single day and rolls over into the following morning for players in Asia and Oceania.

Quick answer: The D-O event begins Saturday, August 28 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time and lasts exactly 24 hours. Log in during that window to claim the D-O rewards and use the boosted multipliers.

Start time: Saturday, August 28 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time

D-O event start times by time zone

The event opens at the same moment worldwide, so the local start time shifts by region. Players in India, Japan, and Australia will see the event begin in the early hours of Sunday.

D-O event rewards

Taking part in the event lets you add the D-O iconic droid to your Droidex, along with cosmetic and premium-currency rewards. The full reward set includes the following.

  • D-O iconic droid, expected to function as a worker droid
  • D-O base paint for customizing your workshop
  • A chance at Nova Crystals

The leaked D-O perk explained

Leaks point to the D-O droid carrying a 50% fusion tank boost as its unique perk. The exact mechanics of how that boost applies are not confirmed, so treat the figure as unverified until the event goes live and the perk can be checked in-game.

Note: Because the perk is a leak rather than an official listing, the value or wording could change when the droid is added to the mode.

Active event bonuses during the D-O event

While the event is live, three multipliers stack on top of your normal progress. These make the window the best time to farm credits, upgrade droids, and push for high-quality crafts.

The doubled Upgrade Chip drop rate is worth prioritizing, since chips are the main cost for pushing Epic and higher droids to Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow tiers. The doubled flawless chance also improves your odds of a clean craft on higher-value blueprints.

How to make the most of the crafting bonuses

Head to a crafting station and speed up in-progress droids by hitting the device with your Pickaxe. Filling the “SPEED UP!” meter shortens the wait so you can cycle through more crafts inside the 24-hour window.

Queue your best blueprints while the doubled flawless chance is active. Toss a blueprint onto the crafting station when the “TOSS BLUEPRINT ON CRAFTING STATION” prompt appears, then aim for the “Flawless!” rating on higher-rarity droids like OPTI-STRK.

Spend the doubled credit and Upgrade Chip income on the droids that gain the most from higher tiers. Since a Rainbow droid produces eight times the base Credits-per-second of its standard version, banking chips during the event pays off long after it ends.

You will know the event is active when the D-O rewards and multipliers appear in the mode’s news tab and event screen at the start time listed above. Once the 24-hour window closes, the bonuses switch off and the D-O droid becomes unavailable until any future rerun.
