Storage Hunters: How to Prepare for the Police Raid Update (Roblox)

Push your net worth up with Alien Customer Potions and stack luck from quests, the Museum, and energy drinks before it lands.

Push your net worth up with Alien Customer Potions and stack luck from quests, the Museum, and energy drinks before it lands.

A Police Raid update is on the way to Storage Hunters, and the two stats worth building before it arrives are net worth and luck. Both are slow to raise from a standing start, and both are already boostable right now using the Alien Invasion event, existing questlines, and the Museum. No official date or time for the Police Raid update has been confirmed.

Quick answer: Max the Celebrity Customers shop upgrade, farm Alien Customer Potions from the Alien Invasion event, and set your shop assistant’s auto-accept threshold to 100% to convert stock into cash automatically. Then bank luck by filling the item Index, finishing the Lucky Beach, Business Bay, and Bobby and Terry questlines, showcasing mutated items in the Museum, and buying Luck Drinks with gems.

Raise net worth before the Police Raid update

Net worth gates almost everything in the game, from auction areas to achievement payouts, so it is the first number to move. The fastest lever is customer quality rather than raw grinding, which means shop upgrades and potions do more for you than another hour of bidding.

Open Shop Upgrades and push Celebrity Customers as high as it will go. Celebrities pay far above ordinary customers, and if you own the Celebrity gamepass you get an extra 50% more of them on top of the upgrade.

Stack the supporting upgrades that improve every sale. Price Tags starts customers closer to fair value with offers improved by +10%, Advertising speeds up offers by 50%, and Trophy Capacity lets you place more Gavel Trophies for their stacked luck.
Farm Alien Customer Potions from the Alien Invasion event. They drop from event quests, or you can spend 25 Alien Tokens for a roll with a 6% chance at one, so quests are the more reliable route.
Equip accessories built around customer offers before you drink one. Pieces like the Desert Hood and Race Valk push offer values up, and the bonus applies to everything the aliens buy.
Set your shop assistant to auto-accept at 100% or higher, then use the potion. Alien customers under the potion will buy any item in your shop rather than only mutated ones, so a high threshold clears stock at full value without you clicking through each offer.

Note: a 100% threshold means the assistant only takes offers at or above fair value. Drop it below that and you will bleed value on every sale, which defeats the point of the potion.

Build permanent luck first, then temporary luck

Luck decides what shows up inside containers, so it matters most on the day a new auction type goes live. Permanent sources should be locked in ahead of time because they cost nothing to maintain once earned. Temporary boosts are saved for the moment the update actually drops.

Fill out the item Index. Every entry you register adds passive luck, and it is the one source that keeps paying out without any upkeep or spending.
Clear the Lucky Beach and Business Bay questlines. Each completed quest can hand back up to two Luck 2 potions and two Luck 3 potions, which is free stock you would otherwise pay gems for.
Finish the Bobby and Terry questline if you have not already. It is easy to skip during normal auction grinding and is worth clearing while there is no time pressure.
Display your best items in the Shopping Mall Museum. Heavily mutated, high-star, and rare pieces give the largest passive showcase bonus, and a strong display can read something like +14% Luck with five items showcased.
Stock up on Luck Drinks from the Energy Cafe using gems. Buy them in advance so the moment the Police Raid content opens you are drinking rather than shopping.

Luck Drink 1Rare+50%12 for 35 Gems
Luck Drink 2Epic+150%25 for 99 Gems
Luck Drink 3Legendary+300%65 for 199 Gems

The three drinks stack, so the strongest short window comes from running all of them together on top of your Index, Museum, and trophy luck. Playing alongside a friend adds a further +5% luck while you are in the same server.

How to confirm your prep is working

Each of these has a visible readout, so you do not have to guess. Check them once before the update goes live and again after any potion or drink you use.

What you changedWhere to verify it
Celebrity Customers upgradeShop Upgrades shows the pass as owned with the extra 50% celebrity bonus applied
Alien Customer Potion activeAlien customers begin buying non-mutated items off your shelves
Auto-accept thresholdStaff menu lists the assistant’s threshold at 100% or higher
Museum showcaseThe display panel lists a luck percentage and the number of items showcased
Luck DrinksThe active drink timer and boosted luck total appear on your stats

Common reasons the prep does not pay off

  • Drinking an Alien Customer Potion with the assistant threshold left low, which sells items under fair value.
  • Spending Alien Tokens on rolls instead of running event quests, since the token route is only a 6% chance per 25 tokens.
  • Filling the Museum with cheap filler rather than mutated, high-star, or rare items, which keeps the showcase luck bonus small.
  • Burning Luck Drinks during ordinary grinding, leaving nothing stacked when the new content opens.
  • Hitting your Plot Capacity limit, so there is no shelf space left for the potion’s customers to buy from.

The Alien Invasion event is the piece with a shelf life here, so the potions and event quests are the part to prioritize while it is still running. Everything else, from the Index to the Museum display, carries over permanently and will keep working the moment the Police Raid content unlocks.
