Loot in Dungeon Quest Reborn is not flat. With 291 weapons and at least 19 abilities floating around, the gap between an entry-level drop and a chase piece is enormous, and the dungeon a weapon comes from tells you almost everything about where it lands. The newest zones carry the biggest numbers, older zones fall behind fast, and a handful of Ultimates sit so far ahead that once one drops, the hunt is basically over.
Quick answer: Equip Eden’s Vengeance (Warrior) or Eden’s Reaper (Mage) if you can pull them from Enchanted Forest, and lock Enhanced Inner Rage (Warrior) or Enhanced Inner Focus (Mage) into your ability slots. Those are the top of the meta right now.
Rankings here weigh raw damage, how late the source dungeon is, and whether a piece is a realistic pull or a lottery ticket. This reflects the current build with Gildenscale as the latest dungeon in the game, as of August 2026.

Weapon tiers at a snapshot
Weapons cluster by dungeon. Because every zone’s loot pool sits above the one before it, entire dungeons move as a block. Even the weakest Enchanted Forest drop outperforms the best Northern Lands gear, and the same pattern repeats down the ladder. There are no F-tier weapons, since anything beats fighting bare-handed.
| Tier | Source dungeons | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| S | Enchanted Forest, Northern Lands, Gildenscale | Current meta. Holds every Ultimate, Legendary, and endgame drop worth chasing. |
| A | Outer Orbit, Volcanic Chambers, Aquatic Temple | Excellent late-mid gear that carries you into the S-tier zones. |
| B | Steel Sanctum, Ghost Harbor, Temple Crypt | Fine while you climb, replaced as soon as A-tier drops arrive. |
| C | Sky Palace, Underwater, Kraken Cove | Early progression loot, useful only until the next zone opens. |
| D | Pyramid, Winter Outpost, Desert Temple | The weakest pool. Starter gear you outgrow within a dungeon or two. |

Eden’s Vengeance and Eden’s Reaper are the ceiling. Nothing in the game outranks them, not even Gildenscale’s Legendaries, so if either drops, you stop looking. Below them, the Eldenbark pair is the realistic stopgap while you grind, and both already out-damage anything from Northern Lands or Gildenscale that isn’t itself a Legendary or Ultimate.
One wrinkle at the very top: because Gildenscale is the latest dungeon in the game, its Legendary pair posts the highest raw numbers of any Legendary. That makes Gildenscale Oath And Aegis and Daybreak And Gildensong the top Warrior and Mage chase pieces overall, even ahead of Eldenbark.
| Weapon | Class | Dungeon |
|---|---|---|
| Eden’s Vengeance | Warrior Ultimate | Enchanted Forest |
| Eden’s Reaper | Mage Ultimate | Enchanted Forest |
| Eldenbark Greatsword | Warrior Legend | Enchanted Forest |
| Eldenbark Greatstaff | Mage Legend | Enchanted Forest |
| Gildenscale Oath And Aegis | Warrior Legend | Gildenscale |
| Daybreak And Gildensong | Mage Legend | Gildenscale |
| Hofund | Warrior Ultimate | Northern Lands |
| Laevateinn | Mage Ultimate | Northern Lands |
| Mjolnir | Warrior Legend | Northern Lands |
| Gungnir | Mage Legend | Northern Lands |
Northern Lands still earns a full spot in S-tier. Hofund and Laevateinn are genuinely strong Ultimates, sitting just under the Eden pair because Enchanted Forest is the later zone with better raw stats. Mjolnir and Gungnir are the sensible Legendary targets there before you commit to chasing an Ultimate.
Note: Viking Shield is tagged as a Mage weapon despite the name, and it ranks as an early Northern Lands pickup rather than a defensive item.

A-tier weapons that bridge the gap
A-tier is the launchpad. Each Legendary here already performs like a weapon from the next zone up while still costing its own dungeon’s prices. Galactic Dual Blades and Galactic Pike push into Volcanic Chambers power, Lava King’s Warscythe and Spell Daggers sit at Aquatic Temple’s doorstep, and the Sea King pair tops the whole tier since Aquatic Temple is the latest of the three.
| Weapon | Class | Dungeon |
|---|---|---|
| Sea King’s Trident | Warrior Legend | Aquatic Temple |
| Sea King’s Greatstaff | Mage Legend | Aquatic Temple |
| Lava King’s Warscythe | Warrior Legend | Volcanic Chambers |
| Lava King’s Spell Daggers | Mage Legend | Volcanic Chambers |
| Galactic Dual Blades | Warrior Legend | Outer Orbit |
| Galactic Pike | Mage Legend | Outer Orbit |
B, C, and D-tier: climb gear and vendor fodder
Everything from here down is temporary. B-tier holds the Steel Sanctum, Ghost Harbor, and Temple Crypt Legendaries such as Inventor’s Greatsword, Kraken Slayer, and Overlord’s Rageblade. They keep you moving but get swapped the moment an A-tier drop lands.
C-tier covers Sky Palace, Underwater, and Kraken Cove, including recognizable names like Sakura Katana, Sakura Greatstaff, Dual Phoenix Daggers, and the Beast Master Scythes. They are early progression pieces, worth wearing when they drop and nothing more.
D-tier is the floor. Pyramid, Winter Outpost, and Desert Temple loot such as Soulstealer Greatsword, Godsword, Desert Fury, and the Bronze Dagger belong to your first hours. Once a new zone opens, sell or trade these rather than pouring upgrade gold into them.

Ability tier list
You only slot a limited number of abilities, so each one has to earn its place. The two Enhanced Inner buffs sit alone at the top. Enhanced Inner Rage for Warriors and Enhanced Inner Focus for Mages become effectively mandatory at Insane difficulty and beyond, since going without applies a steep damage penalty at high tiers. Both are Legendary drops from Enchanted Forest on Nightmare.
| Tier | Ability | Class |
|---|---|---|
| S | Enhanced Inner Rage | Warrior |
| S | Enhanced Inner Focus | Mage |
| A | Universal Heal | Mage |
| A | Whirlwind | Warrior |
| A | Lightning Strikes | Mage |
| A | Berserk | Warrior |
| A | Enchanted Shuriken | Mage |
| A | Phantom Blades | Warrior |
| A | Phantom Striker | Mage |
| B | Slam | Warrior |
| B | Innervate | Mage |
| B | Rending Slice | Warrior |
| C | Blue Fireball | Mage |
| C | Holy Barrier | Warrior |
| C | Gale Slice | Warrior |
| C | Ice Needles | Mage |
| C | Enchanted Spinning Blades | Warrior |
| C | Phantom Flames | Mage |
| C | Infernal Orbs | Mage |
In A-tier, Universal Heal is the strongest heal available and all but required for a dedicated healer build. Whirlwind clears rooms before your bigger cooldowns come back online, making it a reliable farming tool, while Lightning Strikes delivers the highest single-target tick a Mage can reach. Berserk and Enchanted Shuriken cover pure damage for their respective classes, and the Phantom pair handles close-range clearing.
Everything in B and C is placeholder value. Keep them equipped only until a higher-multiplier drop or a Legendary buff replaces them.

The short version: chase the Eden weapons in Enchanted Forest, treat Gildenscale and Northern Lands as your Legendary farms, and keep an Enhanced Inner buff on your bar before anything else. Match every weapon and ability to your damage stat, since a Warrior piece on a spell build is a vendor sale, not an upgrade. Everything below S-tier is a stepping stone, so spend upgrade gold sparingly until you reach the top zones.
