Honkai Star Rail 4.5: Bonus Secret Music Scores in Astropolis and Lodestar Tower

The exact arrow inputs, chest rewards, and achievements tied to the hidden melodies in both Planarcadia locations.

The exact arrow inputs, chest rewards, and achievements tied to the hidden melodies in both Planarcadia locations.

Planarcadia’s Bizarre Melody puzzles hide more than one secret per area. Alongside the standard music score each location gives you, Astropolis Central District holds two extra bonus stages, and Lodestar Tower hides a second melody buried inside its own special stage. Each one drops you into a short platforming room with a chest at the end.

Quick answer: Open the Bizarre Melody menu inside an Interplanar Jump! machine in Astropolis Central District, play Down, Down, Right, Right, Down, Right, Down for the first bonus stage, then reset the level and play Up, Up, Right, Up, Left, Down, Left for the second.

Requirements before the Bizarre Melody inputs register

The toy instrument only works once you have finished the main 2D storyline, Welcome to Utopia!. Without it, the Bizarre Melody option is unavailable and no arrow sequence will do anything.

You also need access to the Interplanar Jump! machine itself. Some machines stay locked until you push the current Trailblaze Mission in that area further along, so if the blue box refuses to open, progress the mission first.

Opening the menu is the same everywhere. Enter any Interplanar Jump, open the Trailblazemon form menu in the top left, then pick Bizarre Melody and hit Start Performance. On PC, R opens the instrument directly. Music scores are not tied to the level you are standing in, so a known sequence played anywhere sends you straight to that location’s secret room.

Astropolis Central District: First bonus music score

Open the navigation map and travel to Astropolis Central District. The Interplanar Jump! machine you want sits near the water, at the edge of the resort pool area.

Open the Bizarre Melody instrument and input Down, Down, Right, Right, Down, Right, Down. This one uses only the four cardinal directions, so ignore the diagonal keys on the pad.
The melody plays and you are dropped into the hidden platforming stage. Clear it and open the Precious Treasure chest at the end.

Astropolis Central District: Second bonus music score

Reset the level. The second score will not activate while you are still inside the stage the first melody created, so back out and restart the Interplanar Jump!.
Return to the same machine in Astropolis Central District and enter it again.

Open Bizarre Melody again and input Up, Up, Right, Up, Left, Down, Left.
Run the second hidden stage to its end and claim the Precious Treasure chest waiting there.

Lodestar Tower secret music score

Lodestar Tower works differently. The secret sequence is hidden inside the stage that the area’s own music score opens, so you have to play one melody to reach the second.

Travel to Lodestar Tower and interact with the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III box there. Trailblazemon loads in Servitor Mode.
Open the form menu, select Bizarre Melody under Basic Ability, choose Start Performance, and play the Workstation Slacking Ditty to launch the special office desk stage.
Run across the desk, collect the Pixcoins, and enter the vertical launch shaft. During the climb, blue arrow signs light up along the side rails. Those arrows are the secret sequence.
Land on the inverted ceiling desk, approach the vibrating toy instrument, and input Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Up, Down, Left, Up, Down, Left.
Clear the inverted room, open the chest, and jump past the cardboard box to reveal the creature hiding inside. Then take the launch tube to a bonus room holding one more floating Basic Treasure chest.

Lodestar Tower, secretUp, Right, Down, Left, Down, Up, Down, Left, Up, Down, LeftBasic Treasure chests plus the Arcadia Variation: The Fox and the Grapes achievement

Astropolis Central District’s standard melody is separate from the two bonus stages. Playing it sends you to a circular aerial arena where interacting with the centre platform reveals the hidden cloud creature and unlocks Arcadia Variation: Cloud Factory. Both district achievements live under the Fathom the Unfathomable category and have to be claimed manually from the Achievements menu.

How to confirm the melody worked

A correct sequence finishes the tune and immediately loads a new stage. There is no confirmation prompt to accept. The score is also added to your quick playlist automatically, so it appears in your Music Scores Collected list and can be replayed later from any instrument.

For the achievements, open the Achievements menu and look under Fathom the Unfathomable. If Cloud Factory or The Fox and the Grapes is sitting there unclaimed, the hidden creature was found correctly.

If the sequence does not trigger

  • The Welcome to Utopia! storyline is not finished, so the instrument cannot be used at all.
  • The Interplanar Jump! machine is still locked behind Trailblaze Mission progress in that area.
  • You entered a diagonal instead of a cardinal arrow. The pad supports eight directions, and both Astropolis bonus scores use only up, down, left, and right.
  • You tried the second Astropolis input without resetting the level after the first bonus stage.

Neither area’s bonus content is required for anything else, but the Precious Treasure chests are the reason to bother. Sixty Stellar Jade and two cosmetic pieces across the two Astropolis stages is a solid return for a few minutes of platforming, and once a score is in your collection you never have to input it by hand again.
