The second batch of Jack Frost platforming stages in the Maze of Frost and Foresight is live in Genshin Impact 7.0. Stages 4 through 6 — “Quick! Use the Amplifiers,” “Take a Detour to Stay Secure,” and “Stay Calm and Plot Your Route” — unlocked on August 30, 2026, and each one is solved entirely during the Construction Phase. Once you press start, you are only watching.
Quick answer: Stage 4 needs one Prime Ice Cube on the left platform plus Prime Ice Launchpads on the middle-right and far-right platforms. Stage 5 needs only two Prime Ice Launchpads, one left and one right. Stage 6 needs Prime Ice Cubes on the lower-left and upper-middle platforms with a Prime Ice Launchpad on the right.
How the Jack Frost stages work
Every stage has the same objective text: help the Jack Frost reach its destination. The snowman walks in a straight line on its own, bounces off anything solid in its path, and turns around when it hits a wall. Your only influence is what you slot into the highlighted construct positions before the run begins.
The Construction Phase is where you place Prime Ice Constructs into the glowing empty slots. A Prime Ice Cube acts as a block or a step, a Prime Ice Launchpad flings Jack Frost forward and upward, and Prime Ice Amplifiers extend how far a launch carries. Some layouts also include horizontal and vertical moving platforms that you can trigger mid-run. When you are happy with the layout, start the Action Phase and let it play out.

Note: If a run goes wrong, you do not have to quit the stage. The Rebuild option sends you back to the Construction Phase with your pieces refunded, so you can move a single construct and try again.

This layout spreads Jack Frost’s route across three platforms, and it is the only one of the three that asks for a mix of both construct types.

A “Challenge Completed” banner appears the moment Jack Frost reaches the checkpoint, and the stage name is listed above the Tournament Points ×2 payout.

Stage 5: Take a Detour to Stay Secure
This is the shortest of the three. No cubes are needed at all, and over-building is the main way people fail it.

Stage 6: Stay Calm and Plot Your Route
The final stage in this batch uses two cubes as walls and a single launchpad as the finisher. Placement height matters here, so check which row a slot sits on before you commit.

Stage rewards and unlock schedule
Each of these three stages pays out the same bundle, and the Tournament Points feed into the wider Great Expeditionist Challenge event that the maze sits inside.

Clearing any of stages 4, 5, or 6 gives 20 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, and 2 Tournament Points. The rewards are one-time, so a repeat run of a completed stage pays nothing extra.
Why a run fails and how to confirm the clear
You know a stage is done when the “Challenge Completed” screen shows the stage name, lists Tournament Points ×2, and offers a Claim button for the Primogems and Mora. Until that screen appears, the stage remains open in the event menu.
Two mistakes account for most failed attempts. The first is placing a construct in the wrong row — a launchpad on the correct column but the wrong height sends Jack Frost over the goal instead of onto it. The second is filling slots that the solution leaves empty, which turns a clean path into a wall that bounces the snowman back the way it came.
If a route breaks, use Rebuild rather than restarting the stage from the menu. Your constructs are returned and you can adjust a single placement instead of laying the whole path out again.
