“Explore the Warehouse” is an objective inside the “Raid the Slugrat HQ” mission in Star Wars Zero Company, and it plays out differently from the turn-based combat the game usually puts in front of you. You move Hawks through a dark, condemned storage facility in third-person, pick up intel, and talk to a droid before the mission hands control back to the tactical layer.
Quick answer: Walk Hawks through the warehouse and read the datapad for +10 Intel, then continue into the cargo area at the back. Reaching that point triggers the hologram scene and Tel-Rea’s arrival, after which the objective changes to “DEFEAT THE COIL FORCES” with the added condition “TEL-REA MUST SURVIVE.”
What the warehouse section is
This is an exploration beat, not a fight. Combat is paused, no enemies engage you, and the camera sits behind Hawks the way it does back at the Den rather than pulling out to the isometric battlefield view. There is no timer pressure inside the building, so you can sweep the space before advancing.
Progress here is driven entirely by where you walk. Moving deep enough into the cargo area is what fires the story sequence, so anything optional you want has to be collected before you push forward.

Add to Google Preferences →The datapad: +10 Intel and the shipment warning
The one reward worth stopping for is a datapad sitting in the warehouse. Interacting with it opens a pop-up headed “DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS” and awards +10 Intel, the currency the Den spends on Operations at the Holotable.
The message itself explains why the Slugrats are in a hurry. It tells whoever is reading not to store the latest shipment, because every crate is going straight onto a boat and across the planet, with “a big surprise waiting when they pop open.” Close the pop-up and the Intel is already banked.

Talking to the Warehouse Droid
A silver protocol unit labelled “Warehouse Droid” is still running its greeting script in an empty building. It welcomes you to Vin-Saar Materials, delivers the slogan “Textiles For Tomorrow,” and then asks you to leave the premises immediately.
Push the conversation and it adds the detail that gives the place away. The facility was condemned 12,340 rotations ago, which confirms the Slugrats are squatting in a shut-down textiles plant rather than running a legitimate operation. The droid is a colour scene and does not block or gate the objective, so you can skip it if you only care about advancing.

What triggers the Jedi cutscene

The tactical fight: Tel-Rea must survive
The camera pulls back into the top-down tactical view once the cutscene ends, and normal turn-based rules resume. Tel-Rea fights alongside your squad here, but she is not a recruited Operator yet at this stage of the campaign, and the mission puts her survival on the objective list.
| Objective text | What it means |
|---|---|
| EXPLORE THE WAREHOUSE | Third-person exploration, no combat. Read the datapad for +10 Intel. |
| DEFEAT THE COIL FORCES | Clear the remaining Coil enemies in turn-based combat. |
| TEL-REA MUST SURVIVE | A fail condition attached to the fight, not an optional bonus. |
Note: because a downed Operator takes an Injury and three Injuries mean permanent death on standard difficulty, escort-style conditions are the moments to spend Advantage points rather than save them. Rallying a downed ally costs nothing in AP terms compared to losing the mission.
How to confirm the objective completed
The objective list in the top left is the only confirmation you need. When “EXPLORE THE WAREHOUSE” is replaced by “DEFEAT THE COIL FORCES” and “TEL-REA MUST SURVIVE,” the exploration phase is done and the mission has moved on.
If the scene has not fired, the usual reason is simply that Hawks has not reached the cargo area at the back of the building. Neither the droid conversation nor the datapad advances the objective on its own, and there is no additional room to search once the hologram plays.
Once the fight is cleared, the mission wraps and the campaign expects you back at the Den to check what changed before you spend another Cycle. Tel-Rea’s own path into the roster continues from here rather than concluding in this warehouse.
