Dungeon Quest Reborn is an MMO dungeon crawler where a party of up to four players clears hallways full of enemies, fights a boss at the end, and claims loot. Progress is driven by two things: leveling up and gearing up. Each dungeon has a minimum level requirement, and clearing it feeds you the XP, Gold, and equipment you need to unlock the next one. The full climb runs from Desert Temple all the way to Enchanted Forest.
Quick answer: Pick one build (Warrior, Mage, Healer, or Tank), clear the lowest dungeon you meet the level requirement for, upgrade the highest-damage weapon that matches your build at the blacksmith, then move up to the next dungeon as soon as you hit its required level. Repeat until Aquatic Temple and Enchanted Forest.
Choose one build and commit to it
There are four archetypes, and mixing them wastes stat points. A specialist beats a generalist in this game, so put your points where your gear wants them and leave the other stats alone.
| Build | Role | Main stat to invest |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Melee damage (DPS) | Physical Power |
| Mage | Spell damage | Spell Power |
| Healer | Party support | Spell Power |
| Tank | Absorbing hits | Health |
A Warrior pours points into Physical Power, a Mage into Spell Power, and a Tank into Health while ignoring the damage stats entirely. You can reset your points later with Gold if you want to switch, and you can carry two skill bars, swapping between them with the F key.

Dungeons unlock as you reach their required level. Enemies get harder the higher the requirement, and gear drops scale with the dungeon, so always run the toughest one you can actually survive. The climb up to the endgame follows this order.
| Dungeon | Final boss | Approx. level to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Egg Island | Egg Mech | Starter |
| Desert Temple | Sand Giant | Early game |
| Winter Outpost | Ice Elemental | 33–40 |
| Pirate Island | Demonic Pirate Captain | ~61 |
| King’s Castle | The King | ~71–79 |
| The Underworld | Demon Lord Azrallik | ~80 |
| Samurai Palace | Miyamoto Musashi | ~91 |
| The Canals | Guardian Overlord | ~112 |
| Ghastly Harbor | Corrupt Overlord | ~112 |
| Steampunk Sewers | Evil Scientist | ~131 |
| Orbital Outpost | The Destroyer | ~143 |
| Volcanic Chambers | Lava King | ~150 |
| Aquatic Temple / Enchanted Forest | Endgame | ~160–170 |
The best gear in the game drops from the hardest dungeons, specifically Enchanted Forest and Aquatic Temple. Enchanted Forest opens around level 170, which marks the endgame gearing loop.

Upgrade gear at the blacksmith to keep pace
Raw drops are only half the picture. Every weapon and armor piece can be upgraded at the blacksmith circle (the anvil) in the hub using Gold, and a fully upgraded weapon can more than double its base damage. A Soulstealer Greatsword that starts around 3,332 base physical damage, for example, climbs to roughly 6,852 when maxed.
- Only upgrade gear that matches your build. Physical weapons for Warriors, spell weapons for Mages.
- Prioritize the single highest-damage weapon you own rather than spreading Gold thin across several pieces.
- Sell everything that doesn’t fit your build to keep Gold flowing.
- Gold also pays for skill point resets, so keep a reserve if you plan to respec.
Gear also carries rarity, running from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary up to Ultimate. Higher rarity means stronger stats, so a Legendary weapon that matches your build is worth upgrading over a lower-rarity one even if the level looks similar.

Endgame loop toward Enchanted Forest
Past level 80, the dungeons chain together fast: The Underworld, Samurai Palace, The Canals, Ghastly Harbor, Steampunk Sewers, Orbital Outpost, and Volcanic Chambers. Each unlocks a batch of new abilities and stronger drops, and the pattern stays the same. Meet the level requirement, farm the highest difficulty you can clear, upgrade your best weapon, and move on.
- Hardcore mode gives bonuses (extra XP, luck, and an additional drop), so run it once you can survive it.
- Boss Raids open around level 143 and progress through tiers, handing out large Gold rewards and key upgrades.
- Volcanic Chambers around level 150 leads into Aquatic Temple and Enchanted Forest, the source of the best gear in the game.
Leveling titles track your progress along the way, from Master at level 100 to Grandmaster at level 120. Reaching Enchanted Forest at around level 170 is where the true endgame gearing loop begins.
How to know a run worked
A successful clear ends with a Victory screen, drops the boss loot, and awards the XP and Gold for the run. If you fail, the two most common reasons are that you entered below the dungeon’s minimum level, leaving your stats too low to survive or to finish before the timer runs out, or that your equipped gear doesn’t match your build. Since every drop is tailored to a specific archetype, a Warrior holding spell gear will deal far too little damage. Fix both by matching your stat points and gear to one build, and by only entering dungeons you actually meet the level requirement for.
The whole game rewards focus over variety. Lock in one archetype, keep your single best weapon maxed at the blacksmith, and step up one dungeon and one difficulty at a time. That steady loop carries you from a level 1 noob in Egg Island all the way to the Enchanted Forest endgame.
