Collect all nine sprites on a Fortnite stream
The collecting itself happens in the Twitch player, not in Fortnite. An overlay sits on top of the stream, shows the Mali Was Here spray at the top, and displays a grid of the sprites you still need.
When the spray and emoticon arrive in your locker
This is the part that trips people up. Nothing drops the moment you finish the grid. The event runs on a two-week phase cycle, and each phase’s rewards are handed out at the start of the following phase. So the Mali Was Here spray and the 8-Bit Luv emoticon go out when Phase 4 opens, two weeks after Phase 3 started. No official Phase 4 date has been confirmed publicly.
The same pattern already played out one phase earlier. The Shapeless Man spray, the Phase 2 reward, only appeared once Phase 3 went live, arriving through the usual Items Acquired screen with equip and claim options.
How to confirm you actually got it
Once the phase flips, launch Fortnite and check the locker. The item shows up in the sprays and emotes list with its own description card, exactly like The Shapeless Man does with its “Leave your mark” line. If it is in the locker and equippable, the drop went through.
Why the rewards may not show up
There are only a few reasons this fails, and all of them are fixable before the phase ends.

- Phase 4 has not started yet, in which case the items are earned but simply not delivered.
If the grid on the overlay shows all nine filled in and your accounts are connected, there is nothing left to do but wait for the next phase to roll over and check the locker.
