Terrain is a badge glove, which means no amount of slap grinding will put it on your hand. It unlocks the moment you earn the Infinite Cobblestone Generator badge, and that badge only fires when two specific gloves interact in the arena. One player brings lava. The other brings water. What pops out is a cube you have to pick up yourself.
Quick answer: Have a Stalagmite user slap 3 players to charge into Lava Stalagmite, drop it on the ground, then have a Water user spray water directly onto it. A cube spawns — walk up to it and press E to claim the Infinite Cobblestone Generator badge and unlock Terrain.
What you need before you start
This one cannot be done solo. You need a second person in the same server, and you each need a different glove equipped before heading in. Coordinating with a friend is far easier than hoping a stranger cooperates, since the sequence depends on precise positioning.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Player 1 glove | Stalagmite (28,500 slaps) |
| Player 2 glove | Water |
| Players needed | 2 (plus 3 slap targets for Player 1) |
| Where | Arena, reached through the lobby portal |
| Badge | Infinite Cobblestone Generator |
Both players should equip their gloves in the lobby first, then take the portal into the arena together. Doing the setup in a busy server helps, because Player 1 still needs three separate people to slap.

The whole chain rests on one thing: water has to make contact with a placed Lava Stalagmite. Everything before that is just getting the lava version into your hands, and everything after is collecting what spawns.

How to confirm Terrain unlocked
Pressing E on the cube awards the Infinite Cobblestone Generator badge, and Terrain becomes equippable straight away. Head back to the lobby and check the glove stand — the Terrain podium lists Power 54, Speed 13, and the Geokinesis ability, with the usual “press E to use” prompt underneath. If the stand still shows the badge requirement instead of letting you take the glove, the cube was never collected.

Why the cube does not spawn
Two mistakes account for almost every failed attempt, and both are easy to rule out on a retry.
- The water never actually touched the Lava Stalagmite. Get closer and spray straight at it before assuming the trick is broken.
- The cube spawned but nobody pressed E. Leaving the area or dying before interacting wastes the whole setup, and you will need to charge the Lava Stalagmite again.

Terrain stats and how Geokinesis behaves
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Power | 54 |
| Speed | 13 |
| Ability | Geokinesis |
| Activation | Press E |
| Type | Badge glove, 0 slaps |
Geokinesis builds real terrain that players can stand on, which makes it a mobility tool as much as a weapon. The reliable play is using it to gain height and then landing drop-down hits from above. The last piece to form can deliver strong knockback, but the ability gets unpredictable at point-blank range, so it is not a good panic button when someone is already on top of you.
Note: cast it over solid ground. Aimed at open air or out over the void, the terrain may simply fail to appear, leaving you with a cooldown and nothing to stand on.
Terrain arrived with its own in-game event window, which runs through September 11 in the Slap Battles experience. The badge itself is a permanent unlock once you have it, so there is no rush beyond getting a partner online with the right gloves.
