Geno: The Ultimate Reality is an eight-quest story chain in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 that ends with a free outfit style. The objectives run in a fixed order, they can be spread across as many Battle Royale or Zero Build matches as you like, and the last reward is not handed to you at the end of the chain. You have to type a code into the lobby to claim it.
Quick answer: Finish all eight main Geno quests, return to the lobby, open the Admin Panel, and enter YourThoughtsAreMine to unlock the Void Master Geno outfit style and the Conduits of Power Back Bling.
All eight Geno quests and their requirements
The chain unlocks one quest at a time, so you cannot skip ahead or work on them out of order. The first entry shows up as “???” with no description at all, which trips people up. It is simply six player eliminations. Expect roughly 45 minutes to an hour for the whole set if you are not chasing them across dozens of matches.
| Quest | What completes it |
|---|---|
| ??? | Eliminate 6 players. NPCs and bosses do not count. |
| Talk to The Innovation, Jones, and The Order about Geno | Speak to all three NPCs and pick the “Who is Geno?” dialogue option. |
| Find Geno’s Memories from his past | Collect three memories scattered around the island. |
| Visit an Override Console location to inspect Geno’s Work | Travel to any active Override Console, marked on the map as a cartridge. |
| Activate an Override to understand how Geno’s machine works | Be the first player to reach a console and activate any cartridge hack. |
| Extract 3 Sprites so Geno can distill their magic essence | Extract any three Sprites at Extraction Sites or with Portable Extractors. |
| Collect 8 Looper’s essence from eliminated players | Eliminate 8 players and pick up the red essence that drops with their loot. |
| Take down Geno and defy his commands to save The Order from her father | Shoot Geno at the center of the map, then load into a new match. |

Add to Google Preferences →NPC locations for the Geno conversation quest
All three characters sit in fixed spots, and you can hit them in a single match if you land well and the storm cooperates. The conversation only counts when you choose the Geno dialogue line, so do not walk away after opening the menu.
| NPC | Where to find them |
|---|---|
| The Innovation | The middle of Latte Landing. |
| Jones | The north end of Golden Grove. |
| The Order | Southeast of Chopped Shop. |
Note: select “Who is Geno?” specifically. Any other dialogue branch will not register progress.
Where to find Geno’s three memories
The memories are static pickups, and each one plays a short audio log when you grab it. Spreading them across three matches is usually faster than trying to cross the whole map before the storm closes.
| Memory | Location |
|---|---|
| Memory 1 | North side of The Battlewoods. |
| Memory 2 | Beside Jones’ pod in Shaken Sanctuary. |
| Memory 3 | The western entry point of the Mega Maze landmark. |

Override Consoles, Sprite extraction, and Looper’s essence
Two consecutive quests use the same Override Consoles, but they are not the same task. Visiting one is enough for the first. The second requires you to be the first player at that console in the match and to activate a cartridge hack, so contested spots can cost you the objective even if you arrive alive.

The Sprite quest is the least demanding of the set. Any three Sprites count, extracted through Extraction Sites or a Portable Extractor Gizmo, and progress carries across matches. The essence quest is the longest grind, since you need eight player eliminations and you must physically pick up the red essence each downed opponent drops alongside their loot. Walking over the loot pile is not automatic, so check that the counter ticks up before you move on.

How to finish the final Geno quest
The last objective sounds like a boss fight and is not one. Head to the center of the map, where Geno floats in the sky above his machine, and shoot at him. He eliminates you in a single hit. That is the intended outcome. The quest ticks over automatically once you queue into a new match and land on the island.

Tip: do not engage Geno while you are carrying a Cheat Master Sprite. The instant elimination costs you the Sprite along with the match.
How to unlock Void Master Geno with the lobby hack code
YourThoughtsAreMine exactly as written and submit it. The Void Master Geno outfit style and the Conduits of Power Back Bling are added to your locker, and you can confirm it by opening the Geno outfit’s style list.Geno quest rewards in order
Each completed quest pays out one item immediately, and several are consumable Gizmos rather than cosmetics. Some rewards require the Chapter 7 Season 4 Override Battle Pass to claim, so finishing the chain without it will leave a few entries unclaimable until you buy in.
| Quest | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | Cheat Code Locator (Gizmo) |
| 2 | Ordered Conduits of Power (Back Bling) |
| 3 | Llama Supply Drop x3 (Gizmo) |
| 4 | Void’s Wrath (Pickaxe) |
| 5 | Steps of the Void (Glider) |
| 6 | Voided Rift Breaker (Contrail) |
| 7 | Portable Extractor x3 (Gizmo) |
| 8 | Ordered Geno (Outfit Style) |
| All 8 plus the code | Void Master Geno (Outfit Style) and Conduits of Power (Back Bling) |
The five hidden Geno quests
A separate set of five hidden objectives runs alongside the main chain. They award no cosmetics, only 5,000 XP each and an extra audio log for anyone following the story. They also complete passively through normal play.
| Hidden quest | Reward |
|---|---|
| Activate 10 Match Overrides or Cheat Codes | 5,000 XP |
| Survive 10 Storm Phases | 5,000 XP |
| Restore 300 Health or Shields | 5,000 XP |
| Search 15 Containers | 5,000 XP |
| Hit 10 Headshots | 5,000 XP |
Why the chain or the code is not registering
There are only a handful of reasons this stalls. Bot and NPC kills do not count toward the six eliminations that open the chain or the eight needed for essence. The Override activation quest fails if another player beat you to that console. The essence itself has to be collected off the ground, not just earned. And the Admin Panel code stays inactive until the eighth quest is done, so a rejection almost always means one objective is still outstanding rather than a mistyped code.
Running the chain with a duo makes the elimination-heavy steps considerably less painful, and since every objective tracks across matches, there is no penalty for landing hot, grabbing one memory, and moving on.
