Blox Fruits: Secret Master NPC Location in Sea 1 (Middle Town)

The exact building, balcony, and hidden room where the Secret Master stands in Middle Town.

The exact building, balcony, and hidden room where the Secret Master stands in Middle Town.

The Secret Master is one of the harder NPCs to stumble across in the First Sea, because nothing on the outside of the building hints that a room is there. It sits in Middle Town, tucked behind a wall you have to walk straight through, and the entrance is one floor above where most players are looking. If you know the landmark, the whole trip takes under a minute.

Quick answer: In Blox Fruits, fly or sail to Middle Town in Sea 1, go to the large green-roofed building behind the fountain, climb to the second-floor balcony, and walk through the window opening into the hidden room. The Secret Master stands next to the wooden barrels.

Secret Master NPC location details

Middle Town is the town island near the starter islands, and the building you want is the biggest one in the square. It is the town hall with the domed green roof, sitting directly behind the fountain. The room the NPC occupies is not on the map and has no visible door, so the balcony is the only way in.

How to reach the hidden room in Middle Town

Travel to Middle Town from wherever you are docked. A movement fruit with flight gets you there in seconds from the starter islands, but a boat works just as well if you are early in your run.

Land in the main square and face the fountain. The tall building behind it, the one with the green dome, is your target. Ignore the smaller shops around the edge of the square.

The green-roofed town hall behind the fountain is the building that holds the hidden room.
Get up to the second-floor balcony on the front of that building. Air Jump, a flight ability, or simply hopping the ledges all work. You are aiming for the open ledge running along the upper floor, not the roof.
Walk forward into the window opening on the balcony wall. It looks solid from the outside, but you pass straight through it and land inside a small unlit room. No prompt or animation warns you that the wall is passable, so keep moving.
Look for the stack of wooden barrels inside. The Secret Master stands beside them. Approach until the Interact prompt appears and use it to open the dialogue.

How to confirm you found the right NPC

Two things tell you the trip worked. The name plate above the character reads Secret Master, and standing close enough brings up the Interact prompt on screen. Middle Town also displays the Safe Zone banner with PvP disabled, so nobody can interrupt you while you are lining up the balcony jump.

Why players miss the room

Almost every failed attempt comes down to one of three things. Players try the ground floor, where the walkable door leads to a different room entirely — that one holds the Aura Editor and robotmega, not the Secret Master. Others hunt along the roofline instead of stopping at the balcony ledge one floor down. And some stop short of the wall because it renders as a normal window, when it is actually the entrance.

Tip: if you plan to come back, set your home point in Middle Town before you leave. It turns a repeat visit into a single spawn plus a short climb.

Middle Town is worth remembering beyond this one NPC. Sea 1 now carries 40 Island Secrets spread across its islands, each completed objective awarding a star, and collecting all of them unlocks a Teleporter in Middle Town. The green-roofed building is the anchor point for both, which makes the balcony route one of the more useful pieces of Sea 1 geography to have memorized.
