Lineage Piece: How to Find All 11 Flame Chaser NPC Locations

Every island stop and landmark you need to close out the Find 11 Flame Chaser NPC Around Map quest.

Every island stop and landmark you need to close out the Find 11 Flame Chaser NPC Around Map quest.

The Flame Chaser hunt in Lineage Piece asks you to track down 11 identical NPCs scattered across the game’s island chain. None of them require combat, and none of them are locked behind a boss kill. The only real obstacle is knowing which islands actually hold one, because a few of the spots sit on ledges and cliffs that the main path never takes you near.

Quick answer: The 11 Flame Chaser NPCs are spread across 10 islands reachable from the teleporter, from Downwind Village through Elysian Island, with two of them on Shinjuku Showdown. Talk to each one to advance the counter.

How the Flame Chaser quest tracks progress

The objective appears in your tracker as Find 11 Flame Chaser NPC Around Map (0/11). Each Flame Chaser is a standing NPC with a visible name tag reading “Flame Chaser” and a Talk prompt when you get close enough. Interacting once is all it takes; the counter ticks up immediately and that NPC no longer counts for anything.

Travel is handled entirely through the pink Teleport pads, so you never need to run between islands. The teleporter menu lists Downwind Village, Deeproot Jungle, Frostborn Island, Scorched Ruins, Jujutsu Highschool, Legend’s Arena, Monument Isle, Lineage Town, Hueco Mundo, Shinjuku Showdown, and Elysian Island. Lineage Town is the only destination on that list with no Flame Chaser to find.

Several of the NPCs sit above the ground floor of their island. If a spot looks empty, check the ledge or hillside directly above you before assuming you are in the wrong place.

Ground-level Flame Chasers on the starter islands

Downwind Village

Start from the dock and run straight into the village. The first Flame Chaser stands out in the open near the windmill, close to the well. There is no climbing involved, which makes this the easiest one to grab on a fresh character.

Deeproot Jungle

Teleport in and cross the wooden bridge, then head up the grassy slope on the far side. The second NPC waits on top of that hill. It is visible from the bridge if you look up, so you do not have to sweep the jungle floor.

Frostborn Island

Run past the snowy houses and up the slope behind them. The third Flame Chaser is tucked under a pine tree on the hill, partly hidden by the building in front of it. White terrain and a dark NPC model make this one easier to spot from a distance than up close.

Mid-map stops: Scorched Ruins, Jujutsu Highschool, and Legend’s Arena

Scorched Ruins

Work your way through the ruined streets until you reach a burning building with a climbable ledge. The fourth NPC stands on that raised section, surrounded by fire effects. Expect to jump a couple of times to pull yourself onto the ledge.

Jujutsu Highschool

From the teleport point, take the right-hand side of the main courtyard and go around the wall. The fifth Flame Chaser stands behind it, out of sight from the usual path players take toward the Gojo and Sukuna NPCs.

Legend’s Arena

Head up the main path from the spawn point and look to the right for a grassy ledge. A single jump gets you onto it, and the sixth NPC is waiting there. You do not need to enter the arena itself or interact with any boss summoner.

Cliff and ledge spots: Monument Isle and Hueco Mundo

These two are the most commonly missed of the set because both sit off the walkable path. Monument Isle requires going down, and Hueco Mundo requires going up.

Monument Isle

Instead of exploring the top of the island, move to the cliff edge and glide down to the lower grassy ledge. The seventh Flame Chaser is standing there. Nothing on the upper level points toward it, so the drop is the only way to reach this one.

Hueco Mundo

Find the giant bone structure and climb it to reach the high cliff above the sand. The eighth NPC is at the top. This is the longest climb of the run, so give yourself room to jump rather than trying to scale it from a standstill.

Both Shinjuku Showdown Flame Chaser locations

Shinjuku Showdown is the only island with two of them, and they are close enough together that a single run down the street covers both. Do not teleport away after the first one.

The ninth NPC is on a street corner near a bus stop, a short run from the teleport point. Both are at street level, so no climbing is needed here.

Keep running in the same direction for the tenth. It stands flat against a wall further down the street, which makes it blend into the building behind it more than the others do.

Elysian Island: The last Flame Chaser

Teleport to Elysian Island and run through the town until you hit the steep cliffs behind the buildings. Climb them, and the eleventh Flame Chaser is waiting on a high mountain ledge. The ascent is the trickiest part of the whole hunt, since the rock faces are steep enough that a bad angle drops you back into town.

How to confirm the quest is complete

The tracker is the only confirmation you need. After talking to the Elysian Island NPC, the objective should read 11/11 rather than 10/11. If the number is lower than your own count, one of the interactions did not register.

The quickest way to identify the gap is to compare the counter against the island list, since each island except Shinjuku Showdown holds exactly one. Whichever island you cannot account for is the one to revisit, and standing close enough to trigger the Talk prompt is what actually credits the find.
