Flying in WARDOGS levels one track and one track only. Every helicopter you take off in, every passenger you drop in the Control Zone, and every kill from a Pilot-tagged minigun feeds Pilot XP, and that track holds the keys to the rest of the airframes. The ladder is short, front-loaded, and finishes far below the level cap.

Quick answer: The Pilot track hands out 11 unlocks between levels 2 and 35, and nothing after that. Paying every gate costs $959,750, separate from each item’s vendor price.

Every Pilot unlock, level and cost

Four helicopters, two armored supply crates and four music tapes sit on the track. The level opens the tile; the one-time fee makes it buyable; the price on the right is what you hand over every single time you spawn the thing.

UnlockPilot levelOne-time feePrice each buy
Small Armored Crate2$10,000$500
AH-6M [Miniguns]4$50,000$7,000
You Are Not Invited – MokuMoku5$750$100
Z20 Lakota10$35,000$7,400
Ride of the Valkyries – Richard Wagner13$1,500$100
Large Armored Crate15$25,000$800

Helikopter – Fazlija30$10,000$100
Havoc35$500,000$18,000

The Pilot track runs to level 100 like the other five roles, but level 35 is the last gate on it. Everything past that is XP with nothing attached.

How the two payments work

Reaching a level does not put anything in your hands. It exposes the tile, you pay the unlock fee once, and from then on the item sells at its listed price whenever you want it. The Havoc is the extreme version of that maths: half a million dollars to open the tile, then $18,000 for each one you spawn.

Players below Wardog level 9 buy at half price under the New Recruit Discount, so early vendor tiles will read cheaper than the figures above.

Every helicopter is bought from the vehicle vendor inside your faction’s safe zone. None of them are scattered around the map during a match, so there is no version of this where you skip the ladder and find a Havoc parked somewhere.

The helicopters: stats, seats and what each one is for

HelicopterSeatsTop speedPrice
MH-66350 km/h$6,250
AH-6M [Miniguns]2350 km/h$7,000
Z20 Lakota13445 km/h$7,400
Z20 Lakota [Miniguns]13445 km/h$8,000
AH-6R [Rockets]2350 km/h$12,500
Havoc2400 km/h$18,000

Fuel burn is identical across the fleet at 4.4 litres per kilometre, so range comes down to tank size. The Little Bird family carries 120 litres, the Havoc 130.

MH-6

The MH-6 is the only airframe with no Pilot gate at all. It costs $6,250 at the vendor from your first match, seats six, and carries 105 litres of fuel. Since Pilot XP comes from flying and delivering people, this is the aircraft that levels the track for everyone else on the list.

AH-6M [Miniguns]

Pilot 4 and $50,000 open the AH-6M [Miniguns], the first armed helicopter you can own. It is the same 350 km/h airframe as the MH-6 with the cabin traded for mounted machine guns, leaving two seats. Enemies who shoot it down collect $800.

Z20 Lakota

The Z20 Lakota at Pilot 10 is the biggest jump in usefulness on the whole ladder for $35,000. Thirteen seats and a 445 km/h top speed make it the fastest way to move an entire squad into the Control Zone, and the 120 litre tank gives it more legs than the Little Birds.

AH-6R [Rockets]

The AH-6R [Rockets] swaps the miniguns for rocket pods and asks $250,000 at Pilot 20, then $12,500 a spawn. That is the steepest fee-to-price ratio in the game outside the Havoc, and the airframe underneath is still the two-seat 350 km/h Little Bird.

Z20 Lakota [Miniguns]

Pilot 25 and $75,000 buy access to the Z20 Lakota [Miniguns], which keeps all 13 seats, the 445 km/h top speed and the 120 litre tank of the transport version while adding mounted machine guns. At $8,000 it is only $600 more than the unarmed Lakota per spawn.

Havoc

The Havoc is the end of the track: Pilot 35, $500,000 once, $18,000 each time. It is a dedicated two-seat attack helicopter with 400 km/h top speed and a 130 litre tank, and it is the only aircraft that pays the enemy $6,000 for destroying it.

Supply crates and music tapes

Two of the eleven unlocks are not vehicles at all. The Small Armored Crate arrives at Pilot 2 for $10,000 and holds 24 slots, and the Large Armored Crate follows at Pilot 15 for $25,000 with 35 slots. Both resist bullets and explosions, and both are cheap to restock at $500 and $800 a drop.

The remaining four are cosmetic. Music tapes cost $100 each and play inside vehicles, and their unlock fees climb sharply with level:

  • Pilot 5 — You Are Not Invited – MokuMoku, $750
  • Pilot 13 — Ride of the Valkyries – Richard Wagner, $1,500
  • Pilot 23 — Tianqi Xu – Vodka Bomb, $2,500
  • Pilot 30 — Helikopter – Fazlija, $10,000

XP required for each Pilot gate

Pilot XP comes from flying, carrying teammates from your safe zone into the Control Zone, hauling supplies, and kills scored with Pilot-tagged helicopter weapons. Passengers keep paying you after they get out, so a full Lakota run is worth more than the flight itself.

Pilot levelTotal XP to reach itUnlock

Half a million XP covers the entire unlock ladder. Riding the track all the way to Pilot 100 takes 5,000,000, purely for the number and for whatever it adds to your Wardog level, which is just the sum of your six role levels.

Confirming an unlock went through

Once the one-time fee is paid, the tile at the vehicle vendor in your faction’s safe zone stops asking for it and sells the aircraft at its normal price for the rest of your account’s life. Buy it and the helicopter spawns in the vehicle spawn area, ready to fly.

Purchased vehicles arrive locked. Squad Lock keeps yours to squadmates, or unlock it fully so any teammate can climb in.

From the pilot seat you can also open the Garage Vendor to buy ammo and supply crates before you lift off, and check the passenger list to see who is carrying a parachute. Engines need a few seconds to spool up before takeoff, so spend them sorting the cabin rather than staring at the rotor.
