The BNK E36 is the standout early purchase. At $210,000 it costs roughly half of the Civica Type S while making considerably more power, which is what matters over a straight-line run. The Cheva 500 is a pickup with the same 73 HP as the free starter, so it adds nothing to your race times.
Raw horsepower is not the whole picture, since every car can be reworked in the workshop. Fuel pump, injectors, pistons, and camshaft choices all change how a build behaves, and drag setups commonly pair ethanol pumps and larger injectors with a longer gear ratio.
Spawning your car in the garage
Buying a car does not put you in it. Head down to the area signposted GARAGEM, where vehicles are pulled out of your collection.

There is no warning and no appeal; you are dropped straight out of the server and have to rejoin.
The fix is to always follow the normal flow of traffic. After a run, take the designated return roads back to the garage instead of reversing up the strip. Once you are on the correct path you can drive as long as you like without triggering the check.
