Marvel’s Wolverine: All Four Keypad Door Codes and Where to Use Them

Every four-digit combination for the Trask facility and Shiro's penthouse, plus the exact door each one opens.

Every four-digit combination for the Trask facility and Shiro’s penthouse, plus the exact door each one opens.

Marvel’s Wolverine puts a handful of locked keypads between Logan and both story progress and hidden collectibles. There are only four combinations in the entire game, and once you know them you can punch them straight in without hunting for the clue each door normally hides.

Quick answer: The four keypad codes are 0514, 0291, and 5413 during Mutant Detected, plus 1924 for Shiro’s penthouse in Bad Blood.

0514Mutant DetectedTrask facility elevator (story)
0291Mutant DetectedOptional Material Crate room
5413Mutant DetectedOptional Whisky Bottle room
1924Bad BloodShiro’s penthouse cabinet

Two of these codes are required to move through the story, and the other two guard collectibles. None of them are permanently missable, since Mission Replay lets you return to either chapter later.

Mutant Detected keypad codes inside the Trask facility

Three of the four keypads sit inside Trask’s secret facility during Mutant Detected, while Logan and Mystique push deeper looking for Trask. Each one normally asks you to use Wolverine’s enhanced senses to pick out the fingerprints on the buttons, but you can skip that step entirely with the numbers below.

Elevator code – 0514

The first keypad appears as an elevator blocks the path forward. Enter 0514 to bring the elevator down and continue. This one is tied to normal mission progression, so you cannot advance without it.

Material Crate code – 0291

A little later, after Mystique breaks open the route and you follow the blue scent trail, take the first corridor on the left to reach a locked door. Enter 0291 to open the optional room and grab the Material Crate inside. Material Crates supply the resources you need to craft suits and claws.

Whisky Bottle code – 5413

The third keypad shows up much later in the mission, after the jet engine sequence. Continue past the fire into the next area, turn left, and head into the corner. A crate blocks the panel, so smash it first, then enter 5413. That opens a vent you crawl through to reach the room holding the Fist of Legend whisky bottle. Opening this room is optional and only matters for collectible hunters.

Bad Blood: Shiro’s penthouse code – 1924

The final keypad appears in Bad Blood while Logan investigates Shiro’s penthouse in Shinjuku. It controls a cabinet that hides a secret room, and opening it is part of the main objective. Enhanced senses will not solve this one, because the code was changed recently and fresh fingerprints sit on several different buttons.

The clue is on the bookshelf around the corner, upstairs and immediately to your left. A row of manga volumes with matching black spines sits out of order, and four books stick out slightly farther than the rest. Their volume numbers, read in order, are 1, 9, 2, and 4, which gives you the code 1924.

If you step away before entering it, the spine numbers are still readable from a distance, so you do not have to inspect the shelf up close again.

How to confirm a code worked and clean up missed doors

A correct entry lets the keypad interaction continue immediately, opening the door, elevator, or cabinet. If nothing happens, you are almost certainly standing at the wrong panel. Mutant Detected has several keypads in one chapter, so it is easy to enter the right number on the wrong door. Match the code to the specific room in the table above before assuming anything is bugged.

For a post-story cleanup, use the Nightmare Cabin bed to replay the relevant mission and head straight to the keypad. You do not need to recollect anything already saved, so once the crate or bottle registers, you are done. The only four numbers worth keeping handy are 0514, 0291, 5413, and 1924.
