Aniimo opened its servers on September 16 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the mobile version arriving September 23 — and it did so with a calendar already stacked out to late October, plus a legendary storyline that runs all the way to December 9. Two of those events never expire. The rest are on timers, some of them only three days long.
Quick answer: Prismana Promise and Set Out, Pathfinder! are permanent and can wait. Everything else is dated between September 16 and October 29, except the legendary arc, which closes December 9.

Add to Google Preferences →Prismana Promise: the one pick you cannot undo
Prismana Promise unlocks once you reach Junior Wayfarer status, and it hands you a preserved Prismana Aniimo egg of your choosing. Prismana forms are their own form category rather than a recolor: the creature gains a second element, Prismana-exclusive attacks, and altered traits. The second element also brings new weaknesses with it, so the “best” pick depends on what you want the creature doing.
There is no deadline on this one. It stays open permanently, so you can push through the story and decide later.
| Aniimo | Element | Role | HP / ATK / DEF |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dark | DPS | 95 / 125 / 68 | |
| Grass | DPS | 96 / 121 / 74 | |
| Fire | DPS | 95 / 119 / 80 | |
| Electric | SUP | 110 / 115 / 75 |
Stellarys has the highest attack of the four and the flimsiest defense to match. It evolves from Celestis, lives in the Forest of Falling Stars, and closes fights with Comet Aureus, a Dark hit with 166 power. If you want raw damage and do not mind being punished for bad positioning, this is it.
Thornblade is the Grass counterpart, evolved from Budsquire and found in the Sea of Flowers. Its kit mixes offense and mitigation, with Thorny Defense and Aqua Defense alongside Elegant Waltz at 172 power, the highest single-skill number in this group.
Scorchhowl trades a little attack for the best defense of the four at 80, and it carries Falling Star at 170 power plus off-element coverage in Lightning Kick and Pebble Kick. It evolves from Flameruff and roams Beast Fang Ridge.
Luminelle is the support option and the only one here with 110 HP. It evolves from Veilfloat, appears along the Tideblossom Coast, and runs Healing Impact, Lightning Surge, and Self-Destruction. Pick it if your team needs sustain rather than another damage dealer.
Set Out, Pathfinder! and the free launch rewards
Set Out, Pathfinder! is a seven-day check-in. Open the game, claim, close the game if you want — it pays out resources, capture tools, and pods for doing nothing else. Like Prismana Promise it is permanent, so starting late costs you nothing.
Alongside it, logging in after servers open delivers three free catching items: the Sparkling Cube, Aniipod Ultra, and Tumbler. The Sparkling Cube is the one to hoard. An Aniimo caught with it now has guaranteed Perfect Potential, which makes it worth saving for a creature you actually intend to build. Four free outfits also come through story quests, Homeland features, and cumulative check-ins.
Pre-registration passed 30 million, which unlocked every milestone tier: Glimmer x200, Aniipod Ultra x2, the “Companion Promise” limited avatar frame, and the “Sunlit Meadow” limited outfit. These land on the account you signed up with, so create your character on the same email address used at pre-registration.
Progress is shared across platforms only within the same regional server — Europe, Americas, or APAC. Pick a different server on a second device and your rewards do not follow you.
Journey Handbook and Journey Moments: the long tracks
The Journey Handbook is Aniimo’s season pass, known in-game as the Companion Handbook. It runs from launch to October 28, a roughly six-week cycle, and hands out rewards as you clear objectives. The free track is available to everyone. The paid Advanced Companion Handbook, bundled with the Advanced and Collector’s editions, adds a Handbook-exclusive Prismana egg with Perfect Potential and an exclusive evolution material. None of it is required.

Journey Moments starts later, on October 1, and also ends October 28. It tracks milestones from your adventure and pays out against them, so it overlaps the back half of the Handbook window rather than replacing it.
The three rotating mini-events
Three events cycle in roughly week-long waves through October. Each wave features different creatures or themes, so they are worth checking even if you cleared the last one.
Who’s That Aniimo?
You get a silhouette and a set of clues, then have to work out which creature it is and photograph it in the wild. It is a scavenger hunt built on Photo Mode, and the three waves likely mean three different creatures to identify. The first wave closes September 24.

Idyll Ecological Investigation
This one sends you out to research and capture specific creatures across Idyll’s regions. The beta featured around four creatures per wave. The opening wave is the shortest thing on the entire calendar at five days, ending September 20, so it is the easiest to miss on launch week.
Glamour Star
An audition-style dress-up contest. You style your Aniimo to fit a given theme and chase the highest score. It skips launch week entirely and starts September 25, then returns on a biweekly rhythm through October 29.

Aniimo Discovery: Dazmand
Running September 25 to October 8, this is a focused research event built entirely around Dazmand. Objectives cover catching a set number of them, using the creature’s skills in combat, and exploring the areas where it appears. The point is to get you using a creature you would otherwise scroll past, and the format is likely to repeat with different headliners in later versions.

The legendary path: Tracing the Trail and Irisalis
Legendary Aniimo are not pulled. Pawprint Studio removed gacha from the legendary path before launch following beta feedback, and Irisalis is now obtained through exploration and story progression instead. Aniimo has no paid pull banners at all.
Tracing the Trail runs September 20 to December 9 and is the discovery layer. Legendary creatures have triggered abnormal vein energy surges across multiple biomes, and investigating them rewards Crevice Beacons, which are used inside Vein Crevices to draw the legendary out. Nearly three months of runway means there is no reason to rush it.

The Legendary Journey itself splits in two. Trail of Butterfly Shadows covers launch through September 25 and sets up the story. Walking with Irisalis & Gift of Blessing then takes over from September 25 to December 9, and that is the phase where the capture actually happens: collect legendary tokens through exploration and story progress, craft a legendary Anipod, then clear a one-time story battle to seal the bond.
That story battle is a single attempt tied to the encounter, not a farmable fight. Go in with a team you trust.
Vein Abundance and Eggceleration: the short farming windows
These two rotate constantly and never last more than a week, which is exactly why they get missed. Vein Abundance floods a designated map area with a specific creature type on very fast respawn timers. Eggceleration doubles egg hatching speed, and every window lands on a weekend.
| Window | Vein Abundance | Eggceleration |
|---|---|---|
| Sept. 18–20 | Forest of Falling Stars | Active |
| Sept. 21–27 | Prismana Glynsera UP | Sept. 25–27 |
| Sept. 28 – Oct. 4 | Prismana Melloblum UP | Oct. 2–4 |
| Oct. 5–11 | Prismana Waleetle UP | Oct. 9–11 |
| Oct. 12–18 | Prismana Inferlupa UP | Oct. 16–18 |
| Oct. 19–25 | Prismana Carnival | Oct. 23–25 |
The first Vein Abundance sits in the Forest of Falling Stars, close to the starting outpost and dense with Celestis — which is also where Stellarys lives. Clearing the full wave charges that vein’s Prismana energy, which can improve your odds of running into Prismana forms while the event is live.

The Melloblum window is the one to note if you need a healer. Melloblum is a Grass support with 113 attack and 91 BP attack that evolves from Budsquire in Rosetower Woods, running Healing Rose, Rose Garden, and Sparkling Rose, a Holy skill costing 20 EP that clears the whole team’s negative effects while tracking the target.
Inferlupa fills a different slot entirely. It is a Dark and Fire BREAK unit evolved from Flameruff, with 108 BP attack and 99 EP regen, and its Wolfpack Onslaught lands at 194 power — the heaviest hit in this rotation.
Save your slowest-incubating eggs for an Eggceleration weekend rather than burning the window on short timers.
How Prismana flow and Lucky Strike work now
Two mechanics changed for launch. The base chance of triggering a Prismana flow through nurturing is now a flat rate rather than a variable one. And catching an Aniimo can now roll a Lucky Strike, which either triggers Prismana flow directly, raises local prismatic energy, or drops items. That makes ordinary catching during a Vein Abundance window meaningfully more productive than it was in beta.
Launch week priority order
You will know each of these registered by the event menu: completed objectives mark off in the Handbook track, the check-in calendar advances a day, and claimed rewards move into your bag rather than sitting behind a claim button. If a reward has not landed, the event entry will still show it as unclaimed.
Everything else can wait. The legendary arc has until December, the rotating trio comes back twice more, and the open world, Homeland, Twine transformations, and story quests all exist independently of the calendar. The events are a layer on top, not the game itself — treat the short windows as the only real deadlines and let the rest come to you.
