How to complete the quest in Dagdion

Head to Arena Plaza and find the Troubled Woman standing near the fountain. She explains that she wants to buy the man by the inn a birthday present and asks you to find out what he likes. Accept the offer to add the subquest to your log.

Open the Quest List, highlight “Knowing More About Him,” then open the Base Map and fast-travel to the City Inn. Dagdion’s map also covers Shopping Arcade, Lower Temple Row, Kalla’s Temple, Lowtown, and the Tavern, so make sure the City Inn is the district you select.

On arrival, look for the man labeled Woman’s Courter standing under the red canopy near the inn. He is suspicious about the question at first, but accepts the “merchant in training” angle and says he likes ghosh and delicacies.

Reopen the Quest List and fast-travel straight back to Arena Plaza rather than walking. The travel option is tied to the tracked quest, so leaving the subquest selected saves you a map detour.

Walk up to the Troubled Woman and talk to her again to hand over the information. She notes that she now only needs his name, where he lives, and his birthday, laughs at length, and then tells you that you can leave.

How to confirm the quest is finished

After the Troubled Woman dismisses you, a QUEST COMPLETE banner appears, followed by the acquisition prompts for the Mane Ornament and the 600 gold, and then the Renown gain. Once those screens clear, “Knowing More About Him” no longer appears among your active entries in the Quest List.

The quest entry carries an in-game expiry date of 07/05 Mon, so finish it before that date passes while you are advancing time in Chapter 4.
