S tier: the must-have Fire picks
Inferlupa is the standout Fire Break unit. Its skill Unbroken Flameruff Spirit deals heavy damage and stacks an effect that raises the Break efficiency of every hit landed on the marked enemy. That boost applies to your entire team’s attacks, not just Inferlupa’s own, which is what pushes it to the top. It is a Dark/Fire creature that evolves from Flameruff, and it caps its rotation with a 194-power ultimate for real finishing damage.
Sparkelf is the best Fire Support in the game and a near-mandatory slot in any Fire lineup. It buffs the team with Reliable Fire Companion, Inspiration, and Keep the Fire Bolt Going!, heals allies through Treat Feed, and weakens enemies with Leaping Sparks. Few units cover buffing, healing, and debuffing at once, which is why Sparkelf earns a spot regardless of your other picks.
A tier: strong attackers, breakers, and regen
These four are reliable in a Fire-focused team. They fall short of S tier mostly because their strengths depend on setup or on the enemy being weak to Fire, but each one carries a clear job.

Scorchhowl is the go-to Fire DPS thanks to its Scorching Flames trait, which raises its damage against elements that are weak to Fire. That upside comes with a catch: against enemies that are not weak to Fire, its output drops off sharply. It evolves from Flameruff and sits at a base 119 attack with a 170-power Falling Star finisher.
Magmarex is labelled a Break unit but plays better as a general Fire attacker. It piles Fire Debuffs onto enemies and then unloads with Burning Sun for a big hit, and its high HP lets it soak damage for the rest of the team.
Flamerion is a Regen unit that restores a large chunk of EP with Phantom Barrage, scaling off how many Fire Debuffs the enemy is carrying. The recovery is strong, but you have to apply those debuffs first to get the full value.
Squashel is a Break unit built around its Raging Fire trait, which rewards switching between skills and basic attacks. Once you learn the rhythm, it breaks enemies quickly and sets up extra damage for the team.
