Across the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave world map, materials turn up in places ranging from coastal reefs and saltmarshes to mines, ruined forts, and concealed caves. Every destination carries a different selection, meaning nearby locations may provide entirely different supplies. Pinpointing a stone’s location prevents unnecessary map-wide searching when you need a particular smithing material.
Quick answer: The three stone tiers are common, uncommon, and rare. Use Dungeons or Searches from the world map, and travel to any location listed below that provides the stone you want.

How gathering spots work
Not every cave is a dungeon. Some materials can be picked up at ordinary search spots outside of combat, while others only appear inside dungeons. Cullet, for example, turns up at both plain gathering points and dungeon destinations. In the tables below, a ✅ marks a dungeon and a ❌ marks a regular gathering spot. Use the world map’s Dungeons menu for the ✅ entries and the Searches menu for the ❌ entries.
Smithing Stone is the most widely stocked material and shows up at a large number of destinations. Rarer stones such as Sunstone, Blue Snoll, and Orichalcum are tied to a much smaller set of locations, so plan your route around those first.

Orichalcum is the single hardest stone to source. It appears only at Atla Peak in Solidus, which is an ordinary search spot rather than a dungeon. Atla Peak is worth remembering, since it also carries Lunar Stone and Sunstone at the same location.

Warrior’s Soulstone in Part 3
Warrior’s Soulstone is the exception to the stones listed above: it can drop from every dungeon, but only in Part 3, and remains unusable beforehand. After Part 3 starts, spend it to Refine weapons into that part’s newly unlocked higher levels. Its availability is clear as soon as those higher refinement tiers become accessible at the smith.
