Eggs in Ride a Pet do not sit in one spot waiting for you. They rotate in and out of the world on a timer, and the valuable ones get claimed within seconds of spawning. Two systems decide whether you get there first: the Track board, which tells you what is live, and radars, which tell you where a hidden egg actually is.
Quick answer: Open the Track stall to see the Eggs In World list and its reset countdown, then buy and activate a radar from the Gears shop to lock the best egg of that rarity.
What the Track board shows
The Track stall sits in the ranch area and is staffed by an NPC called Egg Yolk. Ride over on whatever mount you have equipped and interact with the stall to open the Eggs In World window.
The table covers all egg types currently spawned on the map, gives the number available for each, and shows that type’s clover luck value. At the top, a timer such as Egg resets in 2:43 shows when the board will generate a fresh set. Board values run from about 7M through 100M and into the 100B class.
Counts shift every time the board resets, but the shape of the list stays the same: common eggs are everywhere, rare ones are almost never in stock.

When every entry on the board has a low value, let the reset happen rather than spend a radar charge. A radar works once, while waiting is the only cost of getting a new board.
Radar tiers, prices, and the eggs they point to
You can buy radars from the Gears shop in the ranch’s centre. Each tier is tied to one egg rarity; activating it directs you to the highest-value egg of that rarity currently in the world. Six tiers are available.

Stock is limited. When a tier shows No Stock on the Gears board, you can force a restock for $3,000. Higher tiers only appear on the board intermittently, so the Ethereal-class radar is worth checking for rather than counting on.
Start with the Advanced Radar at $50 while you are still learning the map. Move up to the Royal Radar once your plot income can absorb the $20,000 cost without stalling everything else.
Infinite Radar
The Infinite Radar is a 399 Robux gamepass that stays in your inventory permanently with unlimited uses and no cooldown. It is aimed at eggs that are not visually obvious — activate it near the Giant Tree, for example, and it points toward eggs tucked into the branches. It is not required for rare egg hunting; the Track board plus a bought radar covers the same loop. Buy it only if stock limits or single-use charges keep cutting your runs short.
How to run a radar hunt
You know the hunt closed out when the egg is sitting in a nest on your plot and the radar reports back with a finished notice, such as Royal Radar Finished. That message means the charge is spent — buy another radar for the next lock.
Pickup window and the Egg Will Break timer
Two separate clocks run on every high-value egg, and mixing them up is how most runs get lost.
- The pickup window is roughly 20 seconds from the moment a valuable egg goes active. Reach it in that time or it is gone.
- Egg Will Break starts the instant you pick the egg up, and it only counts if you reach My Plot before it hits zero.
- Carrying an egg slows you down, so the return trip always takes longer than the outbound ride.
That second clock is why mount speed matters more than anything else in this loop. Always ride your fastest pet on a tracked run, and take the shortest line home rather than the scenic one.
Tracking Blackhole and Cherub eggs without a radar
Blackhole and Cherub are both Ethereal-rarity eggs, and they use the same fixed spawn points across every biome. When either one appears, a banner fires at the top of everyone’s screen — a message such as Black hole egg has spawned — which means the entire server starts sweeping at the same moment.

To reach the Giant Tree, go behind the Sell Shop at the central plot and head straight until it comes into view, then climb to the top. For the cave, go behind the Track Shop, follow the river upstream, and enter the opening behind the waterfall. The Desert biome sits on the left side of the map.
Use a flying mount for these. A ground pet has to work through obstacle courses to reach several of these spots, and the pickup window will expire while you are still climbing.
There is no fixed spawn chance for either egg, so camping one rock does nothing. Volume and speed are what convert banners into eggs. If you happen to have the Ethereal-tier radar in stock and can afford the $30,000,000 per use, it skips the sweep entirely and points straight at the egg.
Why tracked eggs get lost
- Another player reaches the egg your radar locked. The game announces who grabbed it.
- Egg Will Break runs out during the ride home, because carrying the egg slowed your mount.
- Drop gets pressed unintentionally while you are carrying.
None of those refund the radar charge, which is the real argument for reading the board before you buy. A $50 Advanced Radar lost to a faster player costs nothing; a Magic Radar at $300K does.
Once the loop clicks, the rhythm is short and repeatable. Check the board, buy the matching tier, ride hard in one direction, and nest the egg before the timer dies. Everything else in Ride A Pet — mount upgrades, plot income, mutations — exists mainly to shorten that round trip.
