The Kingdom Hearts crossover runs across two Epic games at once, and the cosmetic side of it is free. Three items unlocked through Rocket League challenges are flagged as also being available in Fortnite, which means you never have to spend anything to get them — you just have to play some soccer with cars.
Quick answer: Complete three Kingdom Hearts event challenges in online Rocket League matches — 13 saves, 30 goals, and one win by two or more goals. All three rewards are also available in Fortnite.
Kingdom Hearts challenges and rewards
Each reward is tied to one specific challenge, and every challenge requires online matches. Private matches and offline play against bots do not count toward any of them.
| Reward | Type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Emblem | Wheels | 13 Saves or Epic Saves |
| Star Trails | Rocket Boost | 30 Goals |
| Star Trails | Trail | Win 1 match by 2+ goals |
The event also includes a Keyblade topper on the Rocket League side. The wheels, the rocket boost, and the trail are the ones carrying the note that they will also be available in Fortnite.
You can check the current state of all three from the Kingdom Hearts event page in the challenges menu, which lists each quest alongside its progress counter.

Add to Google Preferences →The fastest mode to farm goals and saves
Rocket League is free to play on the Epic Games Store, so the cost of entry is nothing more than a download. Thirty goals is the heaviest requirement here, and grinding it out in standard soccer matches takes a long time if you are not already comfortable with the game. There is a much faster route.

W, A, S and D, boost with left-click, and jump with right-click. Double-tapping right-click gives you a second jump for aerial touches.Quitting a match before it ends wipes every goal and save you made in it, and it can also put you into a matchmaking timeout. Finish the game even if you are losing badly.
How saves count toward the Lucky Emblem wheels
Saves are the requirement people trip over, because not every defensive touch registers as one. The game only credits a save when you deflect the ball directly in front of your own goal. Clearing the ball out of your half from midfield, or hitting it while it is still drifting toward your side, does nothing for the counter.
An Epic Save counts the same as a regular save, so there is no need to chase spectacular plays. The practical approach in Heatseeker is to park yourself near your net and let the homing ball come to you. Thirteen saves stack up quickly when you commit to defending instead of pushing forward.

The win-by-two challenge is the only one you cannot force on your own, since it depends on the scoreline. A close 7-6 result, for example, does not qualify. Keep queuing and it resolves itself.
Claiming the rewards and confirming they unlocked
Progress is tallied on the post-match screen, then applied when you return to the main menu. Completed challenges do not always hand the item over silently — head back into the Kingdom Hearts event page and claim anything marked as finished, the same way you claim weekly and seasonal rewards.
You know it worked when the challenge tile flips from a progress counter to a completed state and the item appears in your garage. The Lucky Emblem wheels and both Star Trails pieces are Luxury-tier items, so they sit alongside the rest of your event cosmetics rather than in a loot box.
Other Fortnite-compatible items from seasonal drops
The Kingdom Hearts quests are not the only way cosmetics cross between the two games. Seasonal quests and the drops they award can also contain Fortnite-compatible items — opening a Sport Drop, for instance, can hand you the Ion rocket boost. A concurrent World Championship event runs its own challenges for the Furnacer wheels and the Octane: Blue Chip decal, which stay on the Rocket League side.

None of this requires skill at Rocket League, only patience with the queue. Stick to Heatseeker, defend your own net for the saves, finish every match, and the three Kingdom Hearts cosmetics will be sitting in your collection well before the event closes out.
