Aniimo: All Bloom Locations and How to Unlock Every One

Bloom counts for Breezy Plains, the areas they sit in, and the exact way to reveal every locked one on your map.

Blooms are the crystal landmarks scattered across Idyll that double as fast travel points and map keys. Touch one and the surrounding area lights up in detail, the local Aniimo list unlocks, and you can warp back to it from anywhere. They are the backbone of exploration in Aniimo, and finding them is less about hunting blind than about switching on the one thing that marks them all.

Quick answer: Breezy Plains contains 24 standard Blooms, plus 3 underground Blooms and 14 nurture Blooms across its 14 areas. Activate the Branch in Nimbus Fields to mark every locked Bloom on your map.

Bloom counts per area in Breezy Plains

Blooms are not spread evenly. Larger, higher-level areas carry more of them, and the count tends to track how many chests and side objectives an area holds. Three areas have confirmed figures pulled straight from the shipped game.

AreaLevel rangeBloomsChests
Forest of Falling Stars20–25247
The Argent Strait28–32338
Zephyrus Landbridge47–57458

Zephyrus Landbridge is the densest of the three, bundling its four Blooms with 6 Lumin Amber, 18 ecological points, 3 Lumin Collections and 3 Pathfinder Challenges. The Argent Strait runs lighter on Blooms but heavier on Lumin Amber, with 10 scattered across it and six Pathfinder Challenges to clear.

Every Breezy Plains area that holds Blooms

Breezy Plains is built from 14 areas, and each one has at least one Bloom to claim. The Argent Strait is where you land after finishing the story section in Astra, so that is the first Bloom most players will touch. Use the level ranges below to decide the order you sweep them in.

The Whisperwake Isles sit outside this list. The island is not reachable in version 1.0, so none of its Blooms can be claimed yet.

How to reveal and unlock every Bloom location

Head to Nimbus Fields and activate the Branch. It is the single Branch in the region, and turning it on reveals the full regional map along with the position of every Bloom in it.
Feed the Branch Lumin Amber to enhance it. Upgrades raise the Aniimo catch rate, change the weather and improve the Sparkling rate for the region, so it is worth returning as you collect more Amber.
Open the map and look for the gray crystal icons. Gray means the Bloom is still locked. Blue means it is active and available as a warp destination, while purple marks a nurture point.
Travel to each gray icon and touch the Bloom to activate it. Gliding, the Aeroboard and traversal skills such as Flameruff’s Hustle cut the walking time considerably on the wider areas.

You will know it worked immediately. The map section around the Bloom fills in with detailed terrain, the crystal icon turns from gray to blue, and the area becomes selectable as a fast travel target from the map screen.

What an activated Bloom gives you

  • Fast travel to that point from anywhere on the map.
  • Detailed terrain for the surrounding area, replacing the blank map.
  • The full list of Aniimo that spawn in that area.
  • Hints for locked entries, such as Pomawk only appearing at night in Rosetower Woods.
  • Your current catch rate for that area, useful for tracking research progress.

Selecting a Bloom on the map screen is the quickest way to check what is left to catch nearby. The hint text on locked Aniimo is the part worth reading closely, because it tells you the time of day or condition needed rather than leaving you to guess.

Nurture Blooms: The purple icons and their daily limit

The purple Blooms work differently. Instead of just unlocking the map, they act as the nurturing system, pulling a surge of Aniimo into the surrounding area when you make an offering. There are 14 of these across Breezy Plains, and they still function as fast travel points like their blue counterparts.

Interact with one in the overworld and you can see which Aniimo the surge will bring before committing. You get 3 free nurture attempts per day; after those run out, further attempts cost Vein Essence. Larger offerings raise the odds of a higher-quality Aniimo spawning, so save the bigger ones for areas where you are hunting something specific.

Nurturing is gated behind the area’s Bronze Collection Badge. If a purple Bloom will not accept an offering, the badge for that area is what you are missing.

Three more Blooms sit underground rather than on the surface, tucked behind cave entrances, which is why a region sweep done purely from the air can leave you a few short of the full set. Clear the Branch first, work the gray icons area by area from The Argent Strait upward, and the map fills itself in as you go.
