Cornet Highland Form is the Wind/Grass version of Aniimo’s loud, flight-capable songbird, and it does not turn up on the beaches where the standard Cornet lives. There are only two reliable ways to add No. 9D to your Aniilog, and both of them are tied to a specific region.
Quick answer: Evolve a level 18 Highland Chirpi while you are standing in Russet Highlands using Gust Stone x3, or catch a wild one on the mountain peak in Zephyrus Landbridge.
Two ways to get Cornet Highland Form
Pick whichever route matches where you are in the game. Catching one outright is faster if you can already survive high-level territory; evolving is the safer option if your team is still climbing.
| Method | Where | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Wild capture | A team that can handle Lv 47–57 enemies | |
| Evolution | Lv 18 Highland Chirpi, Gust Stone x3 |

Zephyrus Landbridge is the only habitat for this form, and it holds five spawn points clustered around the high ground. Wild encounters sit in the Lv 47–57 range, so this is late-game territory rather than something you can sweep early.

It flies. Bring an Aniimo that can pull it down or hit it in the air, because a target that stays airborne is hard to line up a clean capture on.
Evolve Highland Chirpi into Cornet Highland Form
The evolution route skips the level 47+ fights entirely, but it has a location requirement that trips people up: the evolution only goes through while you are inside Russet Highlands.
How to confirm you got the right form
Check the Aniilog after the capture or evolution finishes. The entry you want is No. 9D, Highland Cornet, sitting between Prismana Cornet (No. 9C) and Tubster (No. 10A). The creature card should read Nova Stage with the DPS role and two element icons, Wind and Grass — the standard Cornet is Wind only, so the second icon is the giveaway.
Its homeland abilities also differ: Wind at Lv. 3 plus Grass at Lv. 2. If you only see the Wind entry, you are looking at a base Cornet.
Cornet Highland Form stats, trait, and skills
The stat spread is identical to the standard Cornet, with Attack well ahead of everything else and Break as the weak point.

| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 96 | P.Def | 74 | |
| 121 | M.Def | 70 | |
| 54 | Regen | 94 | |
| Total | 509 | Stage | Nova |
Its trait is Air Superiority, which raises critical rate by 20 percent while flying, and its mobility skill is Take Off — flight dodges ground attacks but increases damage taken while airborne. The innate ultimate, Avian Harmony Ensemble, fires a wind beam that covers a wider area if all three Movements are equipped.
| Skill | Element | EP | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scream Splitter | 10 | 30 | |
| Wind Bomb Rush | 45 | 157 | |
| Lightning Splitter | 10 | 30 | |
| Water Tornado | 20 | 45 |
Scream Splitter fires several Screech Rounds at nearby targets; when more than one projectile connects with the same enemy, damage goes up 30 percent for 15 seconds. Holding the skill button drops it straight into the Fly state afterward, which is how you turn on Air Superiority before committing to a big hit.
Lightning Splitter works the same way but with Electric projectiles, paralyzing a target for 5 seconds when multiple rounds land on it. It runs on a 15-second cooldown.
Water Tornado drops a vortex at a chosen spot that damages and drags enemies toward the center, stripping 4 Energy from the target per hit. It also sits on a 15-second cooldown.
Tornado and Leaf Tornado round out the learnable list, the latter absorbing nearby puddles for 100 percent extra damage. Wind Bomb Rush is the heavy hitter at 45 EP, so plan on pairing it with a flight opener rather than leading with it.
