Betty is an Odd-Jobber in Project Slayers 2 who stands on a raised grassy ledge in the Bamboo Forest Path area and asks you to recover a gemstone she lost. The quest looks like a search across a wide zone, but the pickup is in a single fixed spot, and the walk there takes well under a minute once you know where to drop.

Quick answer: The gemstone sits on the riverbed below Betty’s ledge. Run past the red torii gate to the rocky cliff, jump into the water, dive to the bottom, and press T to pick it up.

Where Betty is in Bamboo Forest Path

Betty stands on a high grassy platform overlooking the river valley in Bamboo Forest Path. Her nameplate reads “Odd-Jobber,” which is how you can tell her apart from the combat and training NPCs scattered around the region. Talk to her to start the task, and the tracker on the left side of your screen will switch to Find Betty’s Gemstone 0/1.

Keep the ledge in mind as your anchor point. The gemstone spawns in the water almost directly below this area, so if you ever lose your bearings mid-swim, climbing back up to Betty resets your sense of direction.

Route to the gemstone location

From Betty’s position, jump down off the grassy ledge toward the lower path. You do not need a safe landing spot here, since the drop leads straight onto the walkway below.
Run forward past the red torii gate and the bridge next to it. This is the landmark that confirms you are on the correct side of the river, so use it as your checkpoint before going any further.

Continue to the edge of the rocky cliff that looks out over the blue river. Stop here for a moment and line yourself up with open water rather than the rocks along the bank.

Dropping from the ledge lands you in the river beneath the cliffs and torii gate. Shown at 00:18 in Radex Tips’s video.
Jump off the cliff into the water below. The fall is survivable, and you will surface swimming as soon as you land.
Dive straight down to the riverbed. The gemstone is not floating in midwater, so keep descending until you are at the bottom near the submerged rock wall.
Diving00:33Diving

The gemstone gives off a faint blue glow underwater, so sweeping the camera low along the riverbed is faster than swimming in circles at eye level.

How to pick up the gemstone

The gemstone is a glowing blue, diamond-shaped crystal resting on the riverbed. Swim close enough and an interaction prompt reading Gemstone Pick Up appears over it with the key T attached. Press T while the prompt is visible and the item goes into your possession immediately.

Your tracker updates to Gemstone found 0/1 ticking over once the pickup registers, and you will see an Exp and Wen gain on screen at that moment. That on-screen confirmation is the clearest signal that the collection step worked before you head back.

Turn-in and rewards

Swim back to shore and climb up to Betty’s ledge to hand the crystal over. She responds with “You found it! Thank you for bringing it back!” which is the confirmation that the quest is closed out.

Turn-in to BettyHealth Potion x1, Exp, Wen +40

The experience payout is large enough to matter in the high-30s level range. A player sitting at level 38 going into the turn-in can finish the exchange at level 39, with the level-up banner firing at the same time as the reward pop-up.

The Exp values shown on screen include your active multiplier, so your own numbers will differ if your bonus is higher or lower.

Checklist before you leave the area

  • The quest tracker on the left has cleared the “Find Betty’s Gemstone” entry.
  • Betty’s thank-you line has played after the handover.
  • The Health Potion is sitting in your inventory.
  • Your Wen total has gone up by the turn-in amount.

Betty’s request is one of the quicker Odd-Jobber tasks in the Bamboo Forest Path region, and the only part that trips people up is assuming the crystal is hidden somewhere in the bamboo itself. Treat the cliff jump as the whole route and the pickup becomes routine.
