Shrubclaw comes in four forms in Aniimo, and each one is locked to its own stretch of the world. The Bay Form is the pure Earth variant with sun-bleached leaves on its head, and it does not mix in with the Basic or Beach populations. If you are filling in the Aniilog, there is exactly one place to go.
Quick answer: Shrubclaw (Bay Form) lives only in The Argent Strait, part of the Breezy Plains region, where it spawns at levels 28–32.
Shrubclaw (Bay Form) spawn location in The Argent Strait
Head to the southern shoreline of The Argent Strait, the coastal area of the Breezy Plains. The Bay Shrubclaws sit in a handful of spots along the ocean front, usually near the rocky outcrops and cave mouths that overlook the water. They are stationary sunbathers by nature, so they tend to be sat out in the open rather than wandering inland.
Because they occupy a narrow coastal strip, sweeping the shoreline from one end to the other is faster than searching the interior. If the spots are empty, leave the area and come back to reset them.
Shrubclaw has the Tunnel mobility skill, so a startled one can burrow underground and shrug off ranged attacks. Close the distance before you start the fight.

Gender is an even split between male and female, and a standard individual measures 1.3 m and 25 kg. Registering the form in the Aniilog pays out Growth Flower x2, while reporting it returns 100 Credits.
How to tell Bay Form apart from the other Shrubclaw forms
The easiest tell is the element line. The Basic Shrubclaw is Earth and Grass, and it lives around the Berylline Causeway. The Bay and Beach variants are Earth only, and the Beach one carries a coconut on its shell and turns up at Echoback Landing. Bay Form has wilted, discolored plants on its head from too much sun, and appears nowhere except the strait.

- Dried-out, faded leaves on the head instead of lush green growth.
- No coconut or fruit on the shell, which is the Beach Form marker.
- Found on the Argent Strait coast, not at Echoback Landing or the Berylline Causeway.
Evolving Bay Budclaw into the Bay Form
If you would rather raise one than hunt for a wild spawn, the Bay Form can be evolved from a Bay Budclaw. The location requirement still applies, so you cannot do it from anywhere on the map.
Confirming you caught the Bay Form
Open the Aniimo menu and check the creature’s profile. The form label should read Bay Form, the element row should show Earth on its own, and the role should be BREAK. The passive trait listed is Stealth, which builds Momentum up to six stacks as your skills deal damage, doubles that gain while tunneling, and grants 30% extra BREAK efficiency for 20 seconds at max stacks.
The base stat spread is identical across the Shrubclaw forms, so it doubles as a sanity check that you grabbed the right species.
