The Mistwoods is a fog-covered forest zone inside the Breezy Plains region of Idyll, and it holds one of the denser Aniimo spreads in the early-to-mid game. Most of what lives there walks around in the open, but a handful of the more interesting catches — a Prismana form, an Alpha, and a chain of night-only Forest forms — only appear once you meet a specific condition.
Quick answer: Twelve Aniimo spawn across The Mistwoods between coordinates -0770 and -1130. Four of them appear only at night, and three require a trigger before they show up at all.
The Mistwoods level range and collectibles
The Mistwoods sits at a level range of 35 to 37, so wild Aniimo there run a few levels above and below that band. The zone is also well stocked with exploration content, which matters if you plan to sweep it in one trip rather than fast-travel back repeatedly.

| Collectible | Count | Collectible | Count |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chests | 58 | Transporters | 16 |
| Ecological points | 14 | 9 | |
| Pathfinder challenges | 4 | Bonfires | 3 |
| Blooms | 2 | Lumin collections | 2 |
With 16 transporters in the zone, it is worth unlocking the ones near the pond and the stone stairs early. They cut the walk between the western and eastern spawn clusters down to almost nothing.

Mistwoods spawns you can catch on sight
These five spots need nothing more than an Aniipod and a decent capture rate. Lock on, check the success percentage on screen, and throw.
Hummin
Hummin is the lowest-level catch in the zone at Lv. 18, sitting in the fog at -0957, 1162. It is the base form of the same family Hexxin belongs to, so grab it on your way through even if you already have one.

Flutternym
Flutternym glows pale blue and drifts around a tree at -0973, 1043. It moves, but it does not flee, so you can line up the throw at your own pace.

Skippy and Pranky
Both share the pond area at -1130, 1019 and both sit at Lv. 33. Skippy is the white rabbit-like one; Pranky is the blue fox. You can usually catch the pair in a single pass around the water.

Emberpup
Climb the stone stairs at -1030, 0928 and you will find an Emberpup asleep at the top. Sleeping targets do not run, so this is one of the easier Lv. 39 catches in The Mistwoods.

Iris (Grassland Form)
The yellow Iris floats above the grassy valley at -1069, 0929 at Lv. 33. This Grass-element DPS also appears in Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, and Blitzwood, but The Mistwoods spawn is the most convenient one if you are already sweeping the zone.

Night-only Forest form spawns
Three Forest forms ignore the daytime entirely. Wait for the in-game clock to roll over to night, then work through the coordinates below. During the day these points sit empty, so there is no reason to check them early.
- Sparki (Forest Form), Lv. 39, glowing green in the dark trees at -0989, 1019.
- Flamerion (Forest Form), Lv. 39, floating among other wild Aniimo at -0997, 1132.
- Wisptis (Forest Form), Lv. 39, small and low in the grass at -1000, 1023.

Catch the Wisptis group last. You need live Wisptis in that same area to trigger the Ignitis chain further down, so clearing them out first only means waiting for respawns.
How to spawn Hexxin (Prismana) with a Prismana Flow
Hexxin (Prismana) is a Dark and Grass ENERGY-role Aniimo, and The Mistwoods is the only place it lives. It will not appear during normal conditions — the zone has to be running a Prismana Flow first.

Alpha Leafy at the waterfall lily pads
At -1116, 1007 a large green Alpha Leafy stands on the giant lily pads in front of the waterfall. Alphas are boss-tier encounters, so the Aniipod will not do anything until it has been beaten down in combat with your own partner Aniimo. Win the fight, then throw. The catch unlocks the standard Leafy form card, not a separate Alpha entry.

How to trigger Ignitis (Forest Form)
This is the only multi-stage catch in the zone. You cannot get the Forest form without owning a standard Ignitis first, and the whole sequence has to run at night.

Confirming a capture worked
Every successful throw ends with the capture animation resolving and the Aniimo’s card appearing on screen with its index number and form name. That card entry is the confirmation — if it shows the form you were after, such as Forest Form or Prismana rather than the normal form, the correct variant registered in your Aniilog.
Sweeping the whole zone in one night cycle is the efficient route. Clear the daytime spawns and the Alpha Leafy first, leave the three Forest forms and the Ignitis chain for after dark, and slot the Hexxin visit in whenever the Prismana Flow is running.
