Cozite is No. 075 in the Aniilog, a Lumin-stage Rock Aniimo that fills the Support role. It only shows up in one habitat, and the spawns there are dense enough that a single trip is usually all you need.
Quick answer: Cozite spawns around the geyser pools in Zephyrus Landbridge, Breezy Plains, near map coordinates 47, 57. The zone is tuned for levels 48–58.

Cozite location in Zephyrus Landbridge, Breezy Plains
Zephyrus Landbridge sits inside the Breezy Plains region and is listed on the map as a Lv. 48–58 area. Coming in at around level 50 keeps the local wildlife manageable while you hunt. Open the map, mark the geyser field in the middle of the Landbridge, and set your route there — that pocket of steaming pools and mineral rock is the part of the zone that matters.

Cozite gathers in numbers around the water and the mineral rocks rather than scattering across the whole zone, so once you reach the geysers you will usually see several at once. Bailite, its evolved form, is recorded in the same habitat.

Catch more than one while you are there. Several Cozite log tasks ask for repeat captures and defeats, and backtracking to a level 48–58 zone later is wasted time.
Cozite element matchups
| Attacking element | Damage taken by Cozite |
|---|---|
| 1.6x | |
| 1.6x | |
| 0.625x | |
| 0.625x | |
| Lightning | 0.625x |
| 0.625x |
The same chart works in reverse once Cozite joins your team. Its Rock attacks deal 1.6x to Fire and Ice, but only 0.625x against Dark, Grass, Rock and Water targets.
Cozite base stats and abilities
| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 77 | M.Def | 67 | |
| 87 | Break | 50 | |
| P.Def | 67 | Regen | 100 |
That adds up to a base total of 448, with the standout number being 100 EP regeneration — the reason Cozite works as a Support rather than a damage dealer. Outside combat it contributes Earth Lv. 1 and Hauling Lv. 1 at the Homeland, and its pathfinding action is Fly Lv. 1. Grizbo is its recommended partner.

Rolling Clay Ball kicks a mud ball forward that rolls and detonates for area damage on impact. Hold the input to aim and lob it over an obstacle instead of rolling it along the ground.
Shielding Smoke deals no damage. It drops a smokescreen that blocks vision, and targets cannot be aimed at through it — useful for breaking line of sight on ranged attackers.
Its trait, Potent Erosion, shaves 2% off a target’s Rock resistance every time a skill or Ultimate connects, lasting 20 seconds and stacking up to 10 times. Stacked fully, that is a 20% resistance cut for any Rock attacker sharing the field.
How to evolve Cozite into Bailite
Cozite has one evolution and it is gated by two things only. Raise it to Aniimo level 51 and have 1 Loam Stone in your inventory, then confirm the evolution from Cozite’s detail page. There is no quest, time of day, location or gender requirement attached.

The Loam Stone is consumed the moment you confirm. To verify it went through, check the Aniilog — the entry should now read Bailite, No. 076, Nova stage. Bailite is the final recorded form of the line, with no further species change after it.
Bailite trades EP regeneration for bulk, dropping from 100 to 75 while Attack and Magic Attack rise to 116 and Defense climbs to 100. Its Cannon Mode and Cozite Nest Sentry both run on EP, so energy management matters more after the evolution than before it.
Cozite research and log tasks
- Catch this Aniimo x5
- Defeat this Aniimo x5
- Defeat this Aniimo using a Water-type skill x1
- Complete the evolution of this Aniimo x1
- Participate alongside Cozites during synergy training
- Take a photo of a Cozite carrying ore
Most of these can be cleared on the same visit to the geysers, since the spawns respawn in the same stretch and the Water-type requirement lines up with the element you should already be bringing. Resonance Training then runs alongside leveling, costing Basic Astranite at tiers 2 and 3, Standard Astranite at tiers 4 and 5, and Advanced Astranite from tier 6 — worth stockpiling before you push toward the level 51 evolution threshold.
